Great quality. Heavy duty. Color options.
This tarp is well made and heavy duty. I've purchased two others of different sizes. They are all very good quality and ive used them for years. I've had a 10x20 canopy carport in my yard for years. The light weight white canopies are good for about 8 to 12 months and it's time to spend another 120.00 for a replacement. This 16 mil tarp is a pretty good fit and based on my previous experience, I expect it to last at least 2-3 years with a replacement cost of a little more than half the original. The heavy gauge will also provide better protection from hail. The brown color matches the color of the roof on my house.

Super heavy duty
I was pleasantly surprised by these tarps. They are very heavy and thick and appear to be very durable. A great deal for the price.

Excellent tarp
I use this tarp for the roof of the Playhouse. It was the exact size as specified. It was very heavy duty and should last a lifetime.

They mean SUPER HEAVY DUTY!
I was looking for the "last tarps I'd ever buy" to supplement my outfitting for car camping. I looked around at the various options out there and settled on these. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, I figured they'd be better than the common tarp. To put it simply, I was astonished by the quality. They mean super heavy duty! The 12x16 tarps I purchased weigh in at probably better than 20 pounds each. They are thick and bulky, easily taking up at least twice the room of a normal tarp. The corners have solid reinforcement triangle pieces and the grommets are high quality and well secured. I honestly think these things could survive a category 5 hurricane with ease, though I have no intention of pushing them that far. While I am quite satisfied with the product, I don't think I quite needed to go this far in the degree of quality for camping tarps. While I'm certain they will last for my lifetime, and could pass down to my grandchildren's grandchildren, I probably would have preferred a little less weight. I sometimes do airplane based camping trips and these would quickly blow my weight limits for baggage. So, I think I actually want something like an 8-10 mil tarp for my camping tarp purposes. I often rig up tarps with tarp poles, I'm a little bit concerned these might stress my little tarp poles well beyond their ability, especially with a bit of wind. These would be an excellent choice for a boat or toy cover, or a tarp to put over firewood piles. They would also perform well for structure protection. You could probably use them to build a near permanent structure, complete with some level of snow load rating, if you wanted to. For me, I think these will be great on my wood piles and I decided to keep them for that purpose instead. I will even order at least two more, now that I know what I'm getting into. The bottom line is these heavy duty tarps make normal heavy duty tarps look like cheap ones!

Dimensions
Dimensions were larger than listed. Don't depend on grommet stated locations. Good quality, heavy duty.

The best heavy duty tarp you'll find!
These tarps are the best ever. I've left them out year round in the wind, rain, heat, and cold. No tears, no leakage, and no problems whatsoever. The price is still great! I've ordered a larger tarp to cover a cord of wood. I won't buy any other.

So we tried a very light duty ( not White Duck) tarp first for a summer camp sunshelter. It was light duty, white, translucent and we got what we paid for - about 8 days service before wind picked up and ripped all the grommets out. Frankly we could rip the grommets out by hand while staking it to the ground. It handled a few days of light wind, a few days of rain but since we couldn't get much tension on it water would pool on the tarp in big pockets (even on a large metal tent frame) so it had a tendency to destroy itself even without wind. The last day the wind gusted and simply ripped it loose from it's own grommets. The kids thought the show was awesome. the White Duck is very heavy duty - not opaque at all so sheerness is either a 5 or a 1 depending on whether or not you want it to let light in or keep it out. This is solid brown and you see no light though it which is perfect for us so i gave it a 5* rating - if you want sunlight to shine through this is not for you Tiedown grommets are on 18" centres and much more consistent in distance than the light duty also more than double the grommet count of the light duty tarp which was somewhere between 30" and 40" apart and the material is 8 0z or 16 mil thick and a much tighter weave of poly than the light duty. Heavier reinforcing cord on the perimeter and super heavy reinforced gusseted corners. We are able to pull it up taut across it's entire length and width and it stays that way... for 24 hours so far which is far better than the previous choice I can't say for sure this will last all summer but it will certainly take much more wind and rain than what we had. I'll update this rating in two months which is how long we need it to last :) I don't expect to be disappointed
