I couldn’t be happier with this doggie surgical suit — it’s absolutely perfect! My dog was so stressed with other recovery suits because of the loud Velcro. The ripping sound would scare her every time, and she’d immediately try to run away or chew at it. It made an already stressful recovery even harder. This suit, however, uses snaps instead of Velcro, and they are so quiet! No scary noise, no panic — just calm and comfort. It’s incredibly easy to put on and take off, and it’s especially convenient when it’s time for potty breaks. The design makes everything simple and hassle-free. The fit is fantastic too — snug enough to stay in place but still comfortable, so she can move around naturally. It truly made a huge difference in her recovery experience. I highly recommend this suit to anyone looking for a stress-free, well-designed alternative to Velcro options!

I have owned dogs for 37 years and have been a breeder and trainer for 15 years. I have used multiple items over the years after surgeries and like this one the best. I've tried the doughnut, plastic cone and soft cones. This suit is made with cotton and performed better than I expected. I bought the XL size to fit my 2.5 year old 67lb standard poodle who was being neutered and also having gastropexy. Gastropexy is a surgical procedure performed in dogs with larger chests to prevent gastric dilatation and volvulus (GDV), commonly known as bloat. I needed to cover his stomach and privates. The suit covered both spots well! I brought the suit with me when picking my boy up from the vets office. The vet technician put it on him before I took him home. It was easy to put on and the vet tech said she thought it was a good quality surgical suit and she has seen many. I like that the opening in the back to go to the bathroom had snaps not Velcro as sometimes dogs get afraid of the sound Velcro makes when its pulled apart. When I removed the surgical suite from the box I noticed that it has a pocket for an ice pack in the tummy area. I don't remember reading that when I purchased it and thought that was a nice feature, however as I didn't need to use ice I don't have any feedback on that functionality of the suit. My boy wore the suit for 12 days straight. He did lick the suit off and on where he had surgery until I would catch him and tell him to stop. The suit would stay a little wet but didn't seem to bother him and dried nicely. When you bring the dog out to go to the bathroom, you unsnap the back and roll it up. There is a tab that you use to snap it in place. I did notice for the boys that the bottom/underside didn't pull up far enough on the body nor have a snap for the underside so I rolled it up and tucked the snapped flaps into the armpit area so the pee stream would not hit the back flaps as they would hang down from his tummy. I washed the suit in semi-warm water and air dried. It came out just fine.

This (Small 16.9-21 inch back) suitical recovery suit fits our 18# Dachshund perfectly. She had abdominal surgery and this completely covers the suture area on her abdomen. She has a donut to wear as well as a second precaution to chewing or licking her sutures. Her back is 17.25 inches long from neck to base of tail and It is long enough to cover. We just snapped the second set of snaps to the first to make it a little tighter. The fabric is soft and good quality and the stitching is also solid. The turtleneck is great to keep the suit in place. It was easy to put on her and easy to unsnap and secure when she needs to go potty. We are very pleased with this little suit and glad we found it.

The suit is great for our 47 lb dog that was just spayed. It fits well and is keeping her away from the stitches in comfort. This is so much better than a cone. The only reason this did not get 5 stars is because of the strong and offensive odor that it had. Even after a wash it still smelled quite strong. After 2 washes it is fine now. Be sure to buy it with time to wash it a few times before putting it on your pet. We ordered the Medium+ pink camouflage. It is pretty cute on her and allows her to move around easily.

Amazing product! Kept my dog from his stitches but allowed him to be comfortable and eat and drink. It was was to put on and so nice that I could just unsnap it so he could use the restroom without having to take it off of him. It washes really well and didn’t shrink after washing. I would recommend to anyone getting their dog spayed or neutered.9

Visto che la mia cucciola è appena stata sottoposta alla classica operazione di sterilizzazione ho pensato bene di acquistare un collare Elisabetta per evitare che possa "darsi da fare" con i punti di sutura... Purtroppo il modello acquistato si è rivelato fin troppo facile da togliere (o la mia Birba è troppo furba), così sono passato ad un modello preso direttamente da un veterinario, davvero pesante per la mia piccola e quindi alla fine ho deciso che fosse il caso di trovare qualcosa di meno invasivo. Tra le tante proposte presenti su Amazon, ho preso questa tutina realizzata appositamente per cani che hanno subito operazioni chirurgiche. La tutina viene venduta in differenti misure e seguendo la tabella presente nella scheda del prodotto ho scelto la taglia S. Da quanto ho potuto vedere le taglie hanno range abbastanza ampi per cui nonostante la lunghezza di 41 cm (dall'inizio del collo all'inizio della coda) ho preso questo modello che rientra nel range descritto per la taglia S. Come potete vedere nel video e nelle fotografie, la tutina va bene anche se risulta purtroppo un tantino lunga. A Parte questo funziona perfettamente ed è anche molto comoda da mettere/togliere e grazie alla presenza di ben 4 bottoni di chiusura per lato è anche sicura ed impossibile da togliere senza l'uso di due mani. Nella parte interna è presente una piccola cinghietta con tanto di bottone automatico per poter arrotolare e fissare la tutina durante le escursioni o quanto si deve portare il proprio "amico a 4 zampe" per i classici bisognini. Nella parte interna (zona pancia) è presente una tasca imbottita che può essere usata per inserire cotone o altro materiale assorbente. In generale è davvero un ottimo prodotto, nel mio caso mi dispiace solo aver preso la misura S, forse andava meglio la XS ma oramai l'ho utilizzata e non mi sembra il caso di restituirla. Spero che questa recensione vi sia stata utile.

Compré la M para mi perro mediano de 19kg y le queda bien. Se puede mover sin problema y se siente cómoda la tela.

Comfortable stretch fabric

finalmente qualcosa della giusta misura ad un prezzo accettabile. mi serviva per evitare che si leccasse la ferita di un intervento e fa perfettamente il suo dovere. bel tessuto, leggero ed elastico al punto giusto!
