Great kettle well worth money

Works well and boils water quickly. However the kettle wobbles when placed on its stand, and when boiling wobbles around. Still works well but a bit annoying. Looks nice in my kitchen though and fits in well with the colour scheme.

Lovely kettle

So far so good, kettle heats up water quickly and pours perfectly! Ours had a sliver metal lift out lid on the outside, plastic on the handle and the kettle inside and out apart from the covered heating element which ofc is metal. The kettle doesn't make water taste of plastic. Ours so far has no wobble when it boils so perhaps this has been corrected... The wide base makes it more sturdy and therefore the water heats up quicker. However, if you're short on space then this may not be for you! Soundwise, it's quieter than our cheapo one we had and not as loud as I thought it would be. Average loudness I would say. I wish the water gauge was on the side not under the handle but not the end of the world! I don't feel the kettle is overally heavy. So for so good I feel I bought a good kettle for the money. The only slight fly in the ointment, is where's it's made on the base of the kettle in tiny writing China... Let's just hope Swan demand better quality control! I will update this review in three month's time to let you know how the kettle is getting on! May 2024 Update Pleased to say kettle still working perfectly, still no wobble and working as well as it did when first used. Can 100% recommend this model, sturdy, boils quickly, pours well, no plastic taste. What's not what to like! 👍
