I say tragically good because this stuff is very expensive, but it's the first thing I've found in eight years that does anything useful to my hair. I used to use Trevor Sorbie curl cream before that discontinued, and never managed to find anything else that worked as well. Went through a lot of curl creams and gels and frizz creams looking for a replacement and wasted a lot of money, but this stuff does in fact work. It has a very strong hold on my curls. I have to apply it immediately after a shower when my hair is still soaking wet or it doesn't work nearly as well, even a couple minutes makes a difference, so any other buyers keep that in mind. This little tube is going quite a long way - I've had it for weeks. When it's finished, I'm likely to buy the bigger bottle, since that's less money per ml.

I loved this product. ✔✔✔✔✔ It defined my curls and held them well. I have quite thick, long hair so had to use quite a bit. I tried the trial size as it was a lot cheaper to find out if it suited me or not. Unfortunately for me it did suit me but I cannot justify spending the amount on a normal size tube, so this will only be used on special hair day occasions. 😒 very sad it is so expensive as it is a very good product.

Absolutely no effect on my hair at all. It's also slightly sticky

Great, strong hold for my blond/grey curly hair. Knocked off a star as I really don’t like the strong perfume.

I purchased this product after my hairdresser used it on my hair during my last appointment and I totally loved it. It keeps my wavy hair nicer and frizz free for longer.

Glad I only bought the small size to try out - this did nothing for my fine 2b waves and gave me less hold than my Creightons curl cream for 99p. This is just my opinion, other people with curlier hair may have more success. I will use it up, but won’t bother buying any more - not terribly impressed with the brand, I bought some of their Salty Dog spray some years ago and it made my hair like straw.

My hairstylist turned me on to EVO products. First time we used the product 'EVO Liquid Rollers' and it really helped shape and lift the curl. This product, EVO TOTAL Recoil Curl Definer takes it to the next level! This product gives your curls structure and definition without feeling sticky or having your curls feel 'hard'. I put this on, a little dab will do ya, depending on the length of your hair. I put it in the palm of one hand and rub my fingers all in it and work it into the root of my hair and pull it out to the ends. Then I 'work my curls' ( you curly haired folks know what I'm talkin' about!) and let it air dry for a bit till the curl's definition is showing. Get the dryer with the diffuser out and just gently fluff my curls while drying. Hair looks and feels great! I even use this product in-between shampoos for styling. I get up in the morning, wet my hair with my fingers till damp and throw in a little of this-scrunch, air dry and go. OH- and even though this is a bit pricey, it lasts for a long time. Highly recommend!!!
