Very Tasty, But Be Realistic
These are very tasty, so they make for an excellent crunchy snack. But it's a mistake, I believe, to fool oneself into thinking that this is a healthy "Oh, I can feel good about eating these" food. They taste like Sugar Smacks, and my sense is that they are no more healthful than the cereal they taste like--perhaps, even a bit less so, because, at least with cereal, one gets the added benefits of milk (dairy or soy or whatever).

GREAT snack!
These are one of the best snacks I have ever had and, I have had a LOT of snacks in my life :-) They're good all the time but are the best snack for movie watching! I have had other brands of Rick Rolls/Sticks and none are as good as these (J1), probably due to using so much of the Black Pearl rice which gives it more flavor. I used to get similar rice sticks at a local store but they were made only with plain old white rice... good, but sort of boring... We have been eating this brand exclusively for about a year. I am somewhat embarrassed to say that we love them so much, we have these on subscription the Amazon Subscribe and Save delio and get them regularly ;-)I too have the problem of stale ones. You kind of have to throw away the whole pack if one is bad. But usually when it happens the entire case is not bad just one pack. I am guessing that if you did have a full case that arrived stale, you could return them to Amazon at no charge and get a replacement. It happens, especially with food shipped from overseas. That said, we have only encountered about 2 bad boxes out of 200+ in one year so less than 1% are stale in my experience. And the rest are SO good, I am more than willing to get a couple of stale ones.

The first case was the best
The first case was so fresh they melted in my mouth. The last 2 have been absolutely awful. They are so stale that it's like chewing styrofoam. I made it thru 3 boxes in the last shipment before sending them to the dumpster. I'm not even getting to that with this last shipment. First box seemed okay but the second box was so bad, I couldn't even finish the first roll. I'm cancelling my auto-ship. I'm tired of throwing my money into the trash!

Not found in trader joe's any more
I always bought them at Trader Joe's before but they say that they do not carry it anymore. Love them and so far this is the only place I found them

Great deal on Amazon
I don't even bother going to Costco anymore and people ask me why. Do they even have these at Costco? I ask THEM why if they have Amazon Prime. These are probably about $4 per box from Whole Foods. So it is a great deal especially if you put it in your subscribe and save cart. My sons like both flavors and it's a cool looking school snack. They are pretty good, I have had a couple. They could get addictive they have a slight mochi sweetness. It reminds me of a Korean snack that one of my friends brought to school when we were kids. It doesn't remind me of Japanese sweet snacks though. It's more of a full flavor in your mouth.

I have ordered these before and love them but this batch doesn't taste fresh - they are not as crunchy or satisfying as usual.

My husband is addicted to these
I first discovered these tasty low-fat, low sugar treats at Trader Joe's and they became a staple around our house; my husband and I both love them. They are like a lightly sweetened stick of puffed rice cereal, a great low sugar/fat treat, they are also Vegan (not an issue for me) and gluten free (also not an issue). Sadly, not enough customers bought them and last year I discovered TJ's had decided to discontinue selling them. I tried some local health food stores along with a large Asian grocery we have in town but with no luck. I found them on Amazon and surprised my husband with a case of them for Christmas. We went through that case pretty fast so we're on a second case now.

Quite good and fresh, but sweeter than I expected
These are really delicious and fresh, with a nice crunch. However, if you are used to eating the kinds sold in Korean grocery stores, these are a bit sweeter.
