That depends on the hardness of your water, the softer your water the harder it seems to rinse off any upscale soap. Just remember you are buying a good soap not only to clean which you can do with just water and a washcloth but to retain moisture and smell nice.

Yes it is probably the best soap I have used for my face. Excellent soap and very high quality. Not filled with a lot of smelly fragrance.
