Japanese Kagoshima Wagyu Beef A5 (Kamichiku) Striploin 1lb Steak Cut

First order came next day after i ordered it but it arrived room temperature. So I had to cook it right away. It was delicious. Since wagyu is something special I want it to have it on special occasions. So I ordered it one more time the next day. When It arrived it was still frozen. I live in the desert so I will order it in the winter. If it's still on Amazon.

The steak was shipped overnight in a styrofoam container with 2 get packs. It was delivered around 11am by UPS. So far so good… I opened it and much yo my surprise and disgust, the steak & gel packs were WARM! Not even a bit cool let alone frozen! This is insane! How could this happen? The container & gel packs should have kept the steak frozen or at least chilled for a couple of days. This was shipped yesterday! Totally unacceptable. I wouldn’t let my dog eat this. I was panning a steak tasting at my house and this really upset my plans. I am very disappointed. This company really needs to get their act together. I own a delivery company and something like this is way out of line.

Meat was really delicious but maybe not $150.00 worth of deliciousness! Still, had to try it at least once, plus my 34 year old son wanted it for his birthday. We both agreed it was too rich for what our bodies were used to and kind of sat like a stone in our stomachs, but, the flavor was fantastic.

I expected a 1lb steak as it seemed to advertise.Instead I received 2 much smaller steaks that did weigh in total at least 1lb. But to call this a 1 pound ‘steak’ is just plain wrong. Any steak lover would be disappointed with the thickness of this ‘steak’. The flavor was OK but terribly diminished by the cut. Sad waste of money.

The media could not be loaded. We are originally from Japan, and have had high quality meats but this one was beyond the best wagyu steaks we’ve ever had. The moment you put it in your mouth, the flavors burst; it’s so juicy and tender that it melts in your mouth. We highly recommend trying this - it wouldn’t be over exaggerating if we said it’s life changing. Thank you for the delicious experience!

Poor instructions on preparing this high priced meat

Great steak cut! Juicy, delicious and real easy!Was surprised to see how new the pack date was considering the others I’ve tried were processed/packed as far back as March of last year!Not to mention authentic Kagoshima Wagyu certified by US Dept of Agriculture so no worries about any mishandling.Buying more now.

It was the best beef I have ever had! It was nice and tender, melted in my mouth. It is expensive but definitely worth it.Kamichiku brand is the best!
