Easy to install, looks great!
I had exterior laundry door repaired because it lacked a drip on the exterior and was warping pretty badly due to water damage. After I had the warped portions of the wood removed and filled, it was super easy to install this drip cap/sweep and took only about 20 minutes total. It only required some trimming with Dremel to make sure it was the correct width. It attaches only to the exterior of the door and would be great for doors that are irregularly shaped (warped) at the bottom which won't fit the door sweeps that hug the bottom of the door and are specific to certain door thicknesses. The rubber door sweep works great in sealing the door from the outside. Would highly recommend for anyone in my position that had to fix an exterior door. Excellent value for the money.

stopped my leaking barn door
great item that stopped my leaking barn door. Water would drip down and leak in. This did the trick and was easy to install in the metal door. Drilled a few small pilot holes, screwed it in, and it's done. It now diverges the water runoff just past the edge of the door and sill. Great product!

Great looking Door Sweeps Need a Hacksaw to Install and Looks good
These were the perfect outdoor sweeps for our doors. You need a hacksaw to install these and measure measure before you cut. Look and perform great.

Sturdy and Efficient
Sturdy material, fit right , and looks great. I installed it on the glass shower door with metal frame. It was tricky to drill the frame, but the end result was good. The curved side of product helps prevent the water getting into the fixed part of door frame and off of the door to the floor as well. You would need a hacksaw to cut it to the required saw and it’s pretty thick.

Door sweep
I purchased this and cut it to size. It has a rubber on the bottom. I applied it to the outside of my metal storm door. It has three or four places where you screw it right into the door. It comes with holes and instructions. You may have to drill holes in your door once you get it positioned where you want it and then screw the screws in. I put it on the outside of my door and it works to keep it air tight and any water that runs down. The door is easily whisk away! It serves his purpose and works well!

lower door aluminum strip, screw on, with drip cap edge
lower door aluminum strip, screw on, with drip cap edge, with attached dust, draft and moisture threshold seal. drip cap only extends out about 3/8 of an inch out from door, side to side, but the seal is double-walled (layer) well made.

Exactly what I was looking for
These were easy to cut to length with a chop saw. I like the way they overhang the bottom transom, keeping even hard rain from getting in. They are installed on doors to a large shed with a ramp leading up to them.

Drip for a std U.S. 3-0 door is 3-3 & needs cutting
A standard U.S. front door is 3-0 wide, or actually 35-3/4" door with a 36" frame. So you will need to cut a little off each end with a hacksaw or Dremel cutting wheel. I recommend running a bead of caulk on the door or backside behind the screws to seal the screw holes & minimize minimize moisture getting behind it. Screws come folded inside the blade, so may get missed at first. I am here ordering a 2nd one for the garage side door, like the front, has a bottom sweep but no drip guard. Oddly, the interior garage/laundry enttance door of my has a water drip guard.
