However, you can only PLAY the new next-gen enhanced/optimized Xbox Series X|S games from the system's internal storage or from one of these expensive Seagate storage expansion cards since they use the fancy new "Xbox Velocity Architecture" which requires this technology. i have serval series S/X games on my hard drive and still have room for more. i would say 5 - 10 games per 1TB easy. as for those who say games are not optimized they are getting optimized while file size are smaller for download when they uncompress or download the rest the file size gets bigger. welcome to 4k resolution textures. 360 and ps3 did not have this problem because back then a large game was a joke 1 - 7gigs. xbox one games are like 7 - 50gigs series X/S games are 15 - 100gigs. Blame the 4k textures and the 50 million HD audio/ Video files.

All you have to do is plug it in

Seems a high price but all you do is plug it in and it works just like the internal storage. So you can play enhanced series x games off it just like the internal drive

1TB expansion card

With the size of modern games forme a 1TB expansion card was a must have, even with a solid Internet speed, something like CoD MW3 can take several hours to download, with this I can keep all my favourites in my storage as well a good few on top of this, before I was downloading 3-5 games each night. To ho from 8-10 games to 20-24 is just a great thing to have, so easy to set up, just plug into expansion slot, xbox did the rest, recognised the card instantly, also you end up with slightly more space than internal 1TB as the OS system is on internal, great product 😊👍
