Gemini Manual Die Cutting & Embossing Machine For Scrapbooking, Card Making And Crafting - 6" x 9" Opening Plate Size

This is my first die cutter so I'm not experienced in using them, but I find it very easy to use and love the ease of cutting out shapes using the dies I have bought.

This machine is good quality but its worth knowing that the only downside is the plates can easy warp after a few goes. however i used hot water in a large roasting dish and carefully shaped into place. once taken out of the water and dried and sandwich in between heavy books they should go back into shape again. so if bought for a younger person you may want to SUPERVISE and maybe buy spare plates

Really easy to use, great for making cards

Great machine but the folder was banana shaped after 4 uses. Still useable but badly bowed folder is not acceptable!

I already have the largest gemini machine but wanted something smaller for my smaller die cuts /embossing folders, plus I craft downstairs so easy to carry downstairs, big ones great when doing a big batch of things, but this is perfect for smaller batches

At first i loved this die cutter although i found it very stiff to turn the handle, after a short time the plates warped quite badly, then it was constantly trying to flatten them with hot water and heavy items for hours at a time, i took more time messing about with the plates than cutting, the plates should be cheap, I am now looking for a different one with better plates , I would not recommend a Gemini.

Very light, perfect size for cutting embellishments for cards up to A5 size, I think I will use this much more than the big shot I already have.
