The Motion-cure has changed the way we travel! Well worth the cost.

I will begin by telling you that I suffer from motion-sickness more often and more severely than anyone I know. I have tried all combinations of motion-sickness drugs, bands, ginger chews, and everything in between...and still got sick about 30% of the time I flew, and every time I get on a boat with even the smallest rocking or swaying. I was a little bit skeptical about the Motion Cure, but I figured I'd give it a shot since I had tried everything else. I just got back from a round-trip flight, and I am a firm believer now! I honestly did not feel the slightest nauseous or dizzy on either flight. While I cant say for sure that it was the Motion Cure and not the patch (Scopolamine) that worked for me, I think the motion cure made a huge difference, and left me symptom free on a flight for the first time ever. I would highly recommend it to anyone!Couple of side notes:-It takes two AAA batteries, not AA like the description and user guide says.-My batteries lasted about 4 cycles (each cycle lasts about 15 minutes) until the intensity of the pulsing started to weaken, and I had to replace them.- It says you should not exceed 4 cycles in a 2-hour span, so I would suggest bringing a pair of AAA batteries for every 2 hours of flight time just in case.

Broke before I could use

Bought this for a once in a lifetime trip to Antarctica sailing across the Southern Ocean. Tried it at home as soon as it came since I new I would be past the return date when we got back, it appeared to work fine. Went to use it on the ship and nothing. Disappointed and cannot return now. Product is poor quality, couldn't tell you if it works for sea sickness.

This actually works, but is poorly designed

I suffer from intense motion sickness in flights, roller coasters, and boats, but I actually purchased this product for use with virtual reality, which also causes me motion sickness. This device has 1 major pro and 1 major con.Pro:-It actually works, and makes a large difference. I wouldn't say it made me immune to motion sickness, but it was definitely a night and day difference. I purchased this as a skeptic, and the pseudoscience about magnets part I still think is BS, but the device as a whole (probably entirely due to the localized vibrations) works, and that is extremely impressive.Con:-For a $150 product, this device is cheaply made with a huge design flaw. The batteries need to be changed frequently, which is no big deal if you use decent rechargeable ones, but the battery compartment is nearly inaccessible. You have to unzip an outer layer, remove an inner layer, unzip that inner layer, partially expose the battery compartment which is surrounded by foam and has no extra wiring allowing it to be pulled out, and then attempt to angle-in the batteries to this partially exposed compartment. Despite taking extreme caution, within a week of occasional usage and 2 battery changes, the device no longer turns on - I assume from the poor design/wiring of the battery compartment (although this is just a guess, I don't know for sure).Unfortunately I'll have to return the device, despite it (initially) working beyond my expectations. I'd love to get a replacement instead of a refund because again, this actually works, but with the design issues and this first one going dead within a week of light usage, I don't want to risk the 2nd one going dead in another few weeks and not being able to return it to Amazon. I don't even mind the $150 price tag, as I would gladly pay double that for this product if it was better designed and I knew it would last at least a year. I hope Sidis Labs makes a better 2.0 version of this product at some point that I can try.

Buy LOTS of batteries!

I think this thing may actually work! I took it on a cruise and it seemed to help alleviate symptoms of motion sickness. At least it wasn't harmful, and there were no side effects. It may very well be the placebo effect but nonetheless it seemed to help. It at least helps a person to relax and rest which was helpful. The biggest downside (besides the cost) is batteries! Whoever designed this should have included a AA battery compartment, not the much less powerful AAA batteries. The unit takes two measly AAA batteries which last much less than an hour before needing to be replaced. What's worse, when the batteries are draining the unit automatically turns off in shorter and shorter intervals. I don't know if I'm going to keep this, but if I do I'm going to replace the battery pack with a cheap unit from Radio Shack which takes AA batteries instead. In sum, I'm sure this helps some folks and if you're like me you'll do just about anything to avoid motion sickness.
