Q: Do I also need to get the gloss clear one if I'm using it to paint brake calipers or just this paint is enough?

The paint is very durable if applied to a clean dry surface, I have always applied multiple coats, waiting about 10 minutes between coats.The cLear gloss will add a little extra protection but it's mainly for added shine. I have used vht paint on motorcycle projects, rims, engines, pipes, parts, very happy with it

Q: How many cans I need to paint the 4 caliper covers of my car?

I just painted all 4 of my calipers on my ‘18 mustang GT and I only used 1 can. I put 7 coats each caliper — you’ll be MORE than fine with 2 cans at a maximum. I wish i hadn’t wasted money to get 4 cans.

Q: Does this have metal flakes like a candy paint? How many cans for a bicycle?

The Black Pearl does have metal flake and pearl coat in it. I used 3 cans to do my Honda CBR600F4I motorcycle and it looks awesome.

Q: I want to use the gold flake on the inside of my hood. Will this work and did it have a shimmer to it?

Great glow. But looking for gold this a orange.
