You need to twist alot to get it to cut through more but if this was roo sharp, u would end up breaking a critical cable and that would either mean alot of money or time to fix your mess. You need a strong arm for this job but hey this got my job done well. so glad I bought it

I was struggling to get my wire through the firewall, and these things made it not only possible, but fairly easy. Excellent tool.My only complaint is that there is no wire insertion tool on amazon large enough for 1/0 gauge wire. I had to use a regular speaker wire tied to the end of my 1/0 gauge, pass the speaker wire through the tool, remove the tool over the speaker wire, and then finally use the speaker wire to pull my 1/0 through.

If you’re worried about quality and size - don’t be. These things are full on way more tool than you need to cut rubber.My advice. If you think it may be more than you need you’re right. Me personally I would drill a hole for the larger diameters - but if you run amp power through an existing grommet - these will cut a hole that big.Me I only use the smaller tube.But if want to get

The larger diameter tubes will allow a 4 gauge wire to pass through just fine. I use it for running power wires for amps at work. I was hoping the smaller one would work for 8 gauge but I just use the larger one. It works very well the handle is aluminum and the 4 tubes are steel. It's all well constructed.

Great tool one problem is rubber grommets can pull tube out of handle nothing a little superglue won’t fix all in all I give it 3 stars for fulfillment or it’s purpose. Note the tool is otherwise sturdy just know that the tube will come out eventually.

they can work great but all of mine came apart at joint

ID for the small tube is 6mm and 11mm for the bigger tube.
