keeps your stuff dry
I paddle dragonboats and outrigger canoes regularly. The drybag keeps our stuff dry and safe from car prowlers. Bag looks sturdy, and keeps air in. Make sure you strap it to the boat to avoid it falling out in the event of a huli!

Nifty/Sturdy bag-just as described =)
The bag arrived on time, and was exactly as described. I've yet to take it w/ me adventuring, but it looks sturdy and will easily accommodate my electronics/phone/iPod, etc.. while kayaking/hiking/camping. I will happily do business w/ this seller again.

Has some great features and works well!
Update - can't get my video loaded, so I just added pics from when I tested it at the pond and also in the shower. Hopefully the pics will be posted soon...Original review:Okay, I like this dry bag a lot for several reasons, and then there’s a couple things that could be improved. I tossed it into the pond with some dry clothes in it at first - it easily floated and they stayed dry, so I tossed it in again with a working iPhone inside it for my video that I plan to post on here. I also tested it with a roll of clean dry toilet paper inside and held it upside down in the shower with water shooting into the folds of the top for a couple minutes. A few drops got into the folds inside the top edge, but down inside the bag (below where the folds were) it was dry and the toilet paper was dry. I also got video of this but had to pause between turning off the water and opening the bag, and it was longer, so I don’t know if I can add it since my internet here is really sketchy! :( So anyhow, it seems like this bag will keep your contents dry, unless maybe you take it white water rafting and put it up front where the water gushes over the bow of the raft over and over for a long time, and then they may get a little damp. But for almost all other activities on or near the water I think it will be great! :)I like the large size - it will easily hold a beach towel, sunscreen, water bottle, sunglasses case, etc. for a day at the beach or lake, or on the boat. Also I like the sturdy wide shoulder strap that can be removed easily with the clips but is very strong and secure when clipped on the bag. The surface of the bag repels water so it drips right off after it gets wet, and dries quickly. My husband has some similar dry bags that are smaller but they do have a couple features that make them work better in some ways. One thing is that the opening is first covered with a flap before you roll it down. I put his in the shower to test it and it definitely kept the water out of the inside of the top edges of the bag much better. The other thing that hubby says he really likes is a valve that lets you release air so the bag can be pressed flat and take up less space, which can be really important if you are packing a backpack for a hike or camping and need to fit in as much as you can. However, the bags hubby has been using don’t have carrying straps and the outer surface soaks up water rather than repels it, which make no sense to me.So to sum it up, it’s not a perfect dry bag, but it has some features that our other bags don’t have and they aren’t perfect either. The makers of the two bags need to get together lol! :P :DThis Survival Hax dry bag was provided with significant discount for me to test and review based on my personal experience and opinion.

Perfect product!
This is a must have! Used it on a beach and Waterpark vacation to hold cell phones, Epi Pens and inhalers for my daughter and credit cards and it has been fully submerged with no leaking. Perfect product!

Good quality dry bag with carry strap
I purchased 2 different 10L dry bags on Amazon and some of this review will compare the two. This Survival Hax dry bag is slightly taller and slightly smaller in diameter than the other bag, being just under 12 inches wide when laid flat and just 8 inches in diameter when round without stretching it. (If you are new to roll-top dry bags, read the size information carefully - they may be smaller than you expect, but it is accurate to the description.) The competing bag was about 3/4 of an inch wider when flat and 1/2 inch larger in diameter when round, and was about 1/2 inch shorter in height than this one. This bag has the stiffeners built into the top edges on both sides, while the competing bag has more of a soft edge all around and a plastic stiffener sewed under one edge. I kind of like the other one's design for that a bit better when loading and rolling a very full bag, but this one will probably last longer and both work to seal just fine. The side seam on this one has quite a bit less overlap and some bar seals that go across it, while the competing bag has a more than 1 inch overlap on the side seam and is sealed the entire width and length. I haven't had any problems yet with either, but I'm guessing the other bag has a stronger side seam that will last longer under abuse. The side seam difference and roll-top design difference, plus narrower diameter all together are all pretty minor differences, but might total up to a half star downgrade. The re-enforced area for the bottom end of the carry strap seems about equal on both bags, and the quality of the straps and findings seem similar.I still like this bag and will definitely use it. I will update both reviews if I see any early failures with either. I've also included pictures with this review and I hope you find the entire review useful.I did get a discount on this purchase in exchange for an honest review but I always rate and review products as if paying the full Amazon price. This product is slightly more expensive than some competitors, including the other one I purchased and compared with this one, and thus loses half a star for that, resulting in a 4-star rating. This is a good purchase, but you might be able to do slightly better.
