Did clean all the grime from my patio, but had to stop regularly to remove git from the 'bearing', which was a lot of hassle. The bearing extremely basic - just metal spinning in a plastic washer. If any grit gets in there (or the nozzles) it spins more slowly (or stops spinning) and you get spiral line patterns. This makes cleaning the patio impossible. Sometimes you can remove the cleaner, turn it upside-down and jet water at it which cleans the nozzles/bearing (that's hassle, but relatively quick). Other times it refuses and you have to take the whole thing to bits and rinse it (about 5 mins work each time). Just not worth it. It would be that the one I was sent has a particularly poor bearing so I've returned to Amazon as faulty - however looking at other reviews this appears to be a not uncommon problem.

This worked wonderfully for 10 minutes. Then I noticed that it was making circular patterns with the dirt on the patio. When lifting it off the patio, and applying the water, the head was hardly spinning any more. I took it all apart, cleaned the grit out of the bearing (which is a very simple design with no apparent shielding to keep the grit out). It worked like new - this time for 30 seconds - then the same problem again. Bear in mind this was a relatively clean patio that had already been pressure washed recently. Either there is a seal missing (doesn't appear to be), or this product is completely useless.

Finally got brave enough to crack open my jet washer after buying it in the sales. I decided to invest in the patio attachment based on other buyers comments. It definitely made the task quicker but you could do a patio without it. General advice is of course to thoroughly sweep before and during as this will prevent any stones getting caught in the head and allow to drain and revisit any patches where dirty water may have settled at the end.

I was undecided on getting one of these for years, after reading the poor reviews. But the flags need cleaning again and temptation got the better of me. I wish I hadn’t bothered.To start with it was perfect. Not much quicker than the spray on its own but definitely less messy with no water spraying everywhere.Then some debris must have entered the mechanism and the performance gradually reduced to making rings and then two lines.I dismantled it completely, cleaned and dried it all and gave the flags a brush before trying again. It worked normally for one sweep and then it stopped working again.It could be that the more expensive variants are better, but after this performance I will not be trying one.

I bought this as a replacement. This attachment is much faster and better (more uniform) at cleaning patios and drives than just using the nozzle, once you get your rhythm. Still hard work as you need to bend and use 2 hands. The pressure from your water supply spins the attachment underneath. The only gripe l have is that you need to hold it down as its so lightweight. I tie a 2k weight on the top to help with this and it works. Just makes it a little harder to move about. Also be careful you don't bash it into anything. They are pretty sturdy, bit if you crack it, the pressure wont be able to build up. That is what happened to my last one. I have added a pic of the damage on the 'OLD' one, so you can see. All in all, its a super attachment and does a great job!
