Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Certification Paperback – March 29, 2016

After working in the office for five years, I have finally gotten enough experience to feel confident enough to take a test in certification to further my career goals. I further boosting my confidence, I was looking for a certification exam review book that would allow me to prepare for the test by reviewing the neceessary material in a cost effective manner.After reviewing all the material on the market, I found what I was looking for in the book, Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Certification by J Jonathan.The book is a helpful way to prepare for this computer based multiple choice question exam. It is written in the same format containing the same sorts of questions that your going to find on the test. You will not be wasting a bunch of time studying in a format that isn't even going to be used, which is something that I really liked about this book.Also, you really cannot beat the cost. There were other books on the subject out there that were a whole lot more expensive that did not offer anything more than what this book offers. This is a value for the buck.If your looking to make project management your career, and you want a little edge from the competition, this book to prepare you for your certification will give you exactly that.

This is a great guide for studying for the CAPM. The book is laid out simply, with a brief introduction and timeline of the CAPM Certification process. The layout is easy to read and I loved that the book would lay flat when I had it open so I could take notes as I worked.The guide itself is a bank of questions that are similar to those on the actual test. What I really liked was that following each question, there is a reason why the correct answer is the best choice. The explanations are short, making them easier to digest when dealing with hundreds of questions. It reminded me a little of the flash cards I made in college to study for exams. The short answers made memorizing the content easier and I didn’t have to work through a long paragraph to get the key ideas.Finally, other guides cost much more and seem to contain a lot of unnecessary information. This one is right to the point and has only the most important material - the test questions themselves. J. Jonathan has put together a really fantastic, affordable book that made my preparation for the CAPM a breeze.
