We bought others with the plastic beads, thinking they’d be heavy enough for double Dutch… but they didn’t work nearly as well as these ropes. They are perfect and comfortable to hold, they don’t hurt as much of you get accidentally hit by them.

Strong ropes and heavy enough for double dutch!

Perfect rope for groups of children. So much better than the cheap ropes provided by the group I volunteer with. I ordered two of these to keep with me so that on my day of volunteering I have the supplies/equipment I need. The weight of the rope seems to be perfect and the length too. Kids always like bright colors and this one is not too "girly" so the boys like playing along (at least until the girls start singing the "Cinderella dressed in Yella" or "bubble gum song"). The only reason I did not give it 5 stars, really would have given 4.89 stars if that had been an option, is because it seems as though having some substantial handles with some kind of mechanism to allow free rotation would be good. However, that probably would make the rope too expensive. Great rope. I recommend.

We love these jump ropes. My daughter (8) has one that we have been using for about a year now. We purchased another so that we can start to learn double dutch. It is a well made rope, sturdy and comes in fun colors. I like that the rope is heavy enough to turn well, without hurting badly if someone accidently gets hit with it. When we purchased the first one, I wasn't sure how I would like the knot at the end instead of a handle. It has worked just fine and I like that we don't have to worry about it getting twisted up as we turn the rope. We usually use this rope by having two people turning the rope(s) and one to two people jumping. My two teenage boys sometimes join us and the rope is of a size that it can accomodate them both jumping at the same time - but that is about the max you could fit in at the same time.

Feels very nice and comfortable when jumping. I ordered a 16ft but turned out to be way too long for me as I am 5.7ft tall. I think a 10ft will work perfectly but I don't know if they have it as I have not seen it on Amazon. an 8 ft is definitely a bit short for me.

So, this is not really a jump rope. It is just a long length of rope. NO handles. That being said, we are really enjoying this rope. It is pretty and sturdy. YOu can go to the hardware store and buy it for super cheap. Not sure why they don;t say it is just rope.

I bought this to use with Kindergarten Phy Ed class. This rope swings so easily, even my students were able to use it independently.

Amazon, please add onto the description that this product is only 1 rope, not two (for Double Dutch).The 1 rope is nice quality. Because I didn't catch that this shipment only consisted of 1 rope, we had to run to the hardware store. We couldn't find another heavy duty rope, as this one, but purchased a lesser quality, anyways. Our jumping went on as lopsided.

A nice jump rope for 2 turners. Just be aware. It is exactly that; a rope with a knot at each end.

I bought this so that I could turn it either attached to a post or with another parent so our children could jump. It is plenty long for that. I have a 6 year old grand daughter and she loves it. I like that it is rope and not plastic and that it doesn't have the hard handles that some jump ropes have which can be a hazaard to little ones if the kids start flying them around.

Too new to comment on durable. I was expecting hand-friendly handles.Brightly colored which was a big hit with my granddaughter!Better handles would make this exceptional😊

I like this rope, it’s just a little thick. I used this for my double Dutch club with my students and it was very difficult for them to jump more than once because the rope was so thick. I found them having to lift their legs a little higher and the turners would get tired from turning so much.

Well, it's a jumprope and functions as such, so no complaints from me! I purchased it for my class of overactive 6th graders to use on their break and it has been quite popular. Initially only the girls would go near it but now the boys are joining in too! In addition to giving them a workout, they are also getting better at taking turns, working together, and solving disputes. And when it's not a jumprope it has been a leash for their pretend dog, a tug of war rope, a finish line for foot races and a million other things.
