These are my secret nursing go to item. Love them for opening hard to tear packages and cutting tape. The rounded tip won’t stab you in your pocket and they always stay sharp. Best gift. Also use them to trim my dog’s fur around their eyes and mouth. If they move, they don’t get stabbed by a pointy end.

After checking these out, I felt safe letting a bunch of 2 year olds use them. They had lots of fun cutting paper. My 2 year old daughter loves making a frayed edge around a piece of construction paper.They are blunt at the edge and I feel really confident that accidental injury isn't at all likely. So I'd almost be ok leaving my daughter to play with these unsupervised (i.e. at her craft table in the playroom while I'm in the nearby kitchen) EXCEPT that they do cut hair. I tested this on my own hair, and yup - easy cut.So, although it seems cutting off one's own hair is an inevitable rite of childhood, I'm not ready for that yet. These are great scissors - just don't mistake "blunt tip kids scissors" as a total free pass.They probably won't unintentional injury, but there's still a whole bunch of damage that a preschooler with scissors can do.

I sew and craft but struggle with long straight cuts. These scissors are amazing! Followed the instructions to charge and have used them for 3 weeks haven't even had to recharge yet. They cut through fabric easily. The only cons are the volume, think like the sound of an electric drill. It also takes some getting used to holding both buttons to make them cut. I get that this is a safety feature but it could be more eroginomic to hold and cut at the same time.

Purchased for toddler grands who like to craft with me. They're perfect for their little hands. They're easy to hold and easier to hold on to. They've made crafting with my grands a bit more fun.

These scissors are small, for classroom and kids' use, but fit grown hand, too. They cut extremely well. Smooth, sharp, pleasant. Reminiscent of old original Fiskars quality, before Fiskars became a sell-out.
