Recommend for quality and usage
Wife needed place to transplant some plants that need a sunny area. This worked great. Just the right size and able to place on top of some tilled up dirt. Or a couple bags of top soil to help. There is no bottom. Easy assembly. Tedious to secure all bolts with wing nuts but works. Has small driver for tightening. Has center cross braces that are good for support. Check the dimensions to match your need. This is not a big horse trough.

Sturdy Galvinized Raised Bed Planter
I love a garden fresh salad and even though I am not particularly good at gardening, I love giving it the good ol' college try. I have this small area in my garden that needed "something", and when I discovered this Galvanized Metal Planter Box I knew it was perfect for my needs. It was easy to assemble with screws and wing nuts, went together pretty quickly and the supports make the center section pretty sturdy. I will caution you that the edges and especially the support struts have a sharp edge that's a bit rough and could cause you to cut yourself, but if your recognize that in advance and exercise a bit of caution (gloves), you should be fine. I fitted the struts into place and started the nut on the screw and then removed my gloves for the final bit of tightening everything. Once complete, it is a nicely solid planter. While my plants are still seedlings I have decided that the planter is large enough for several Romaine lettuce plants and some cherry tomatoes on the other end. In the fall after the main growing is done, I'll remove the lettuce and replace them with cabbage that will grow until the early winter.Affordable, sturdy, designed to last and easy to assemble. I'm more than pleased with this purchase.

Get an assembly partner!!
These are great and attractive once they are assembled but I highly recommend two person assembly. They come in a small box and took longer to assemble alone than I anticipated. I bought three sets and mingled them to fit spaces requiring a longer span. I made two ovals and a circle. This planter takes so much soil so on the second one I put my leaves that were composting and filled it then added about half as much soul as the first. It has worked very well and my plants are thriving. I bought mine on sale and would pay that price again but I wouldn’t buy them at full price. I also bought cattle panels for my climbing plants and these support them easily. I am overall happy with these once I had them assembled and filled!

Great little raised bed
Item arrived pretty quick and was was easy to put together without assistance . Though be careful as the thin metal does give you some sharp edges to hold. It’s a great starter raised bed for my peppers and herbs . Likely too small to handle vine plants well. Has held up to watering and environment without signs of rusting so far. Now that I’ve got some experience in using a small raised garden bed . Will definitely get another though larger and taller.overall excellent value and has started my journey into expanding my vegetable garden.

Very simple to put together
The media could not be loaded. This is very practical for at home use and great for the beginner gardener. I have a real hard time planting but I’ve always wanted my own garden, so I figured i’d take a shot as a raised bed. This was the perfect solution. The bed has a thin metal frame, which always me to easily place it in the ground, then with a few bumps from a rubber mallet and it secured nicely in spot. Then I filled it in with my preferred easy grow soil, and this makes it so much easier to plant in!This is a very simple design, but looks elegant and was incredibly easy to build. It comes with a one page, easy to read and follow set of instructions. It is light weight, easy to lift and move; however it has support beams across the middle to keep it from wobbling. I build all my own furniture and put things together all the time, so I greatly appreciate that this whole bed only uses two pieces of hardware and no tools! Each hole fits the same bolt and nut structure and you can tighten it by hand (you can hold it in place with a Philipp’s head screw driver, but i didn’t find that necessary).Simple design, light weight, easy to put together and looks lovely!

Better than galvanized metal.
Just got this (5x2) put together and it was easy even tho the picture instructions were definitly not helpful. Only needed a phillips screw driver and about half an hour. The holes matched up super and the wing nuts and short screws were easy to tighten. the metal is a smooth finish and top edges are not sharp. Well worth the cost. I have ordered another one, both to go in my greenhouse. I would caution against useing too heavy a soil even with its braces and heavy metal.

Very Happy
The media could not be loaded. Easy to put together lots of screws. Came very fast. I put on side of my deck. Its long and narrow. At first I put only one planter but found it to low so placed the other one on top (ordered 2) seems to fit nicely. A word of advice would be don't fill it up until you are happy with locacation and plants, some of my plants are still in pots Ordered 2 more for next project.

Missing parts
I bought three of these and there are Thirty holes and thirty screws and 15 wing nuts to attach it together. I would have returned it but I was past 30 days. Extra money to buy the missing parts makes this a pretty bad deal. They have been outside for a few weeks and have rust spots on them…..
