Didn't know what I was missing all of these years. Griddle heats up quickly and evenly. Sunday, July 13, I made the best pancakes ever. Browning was even on both sides. The large, flat surface allows 3 large pancakes to be made at the same timeIt's a snap to clean. Just lift griddle off the frame and rinse. Just be sure to remove the heating element. Glad I bought this and can dispense with the "pan" cakes made stovetop in those round thingies. Very convenient and produces a quality product.

Dash electric griddle review. 20" model.I've been using this for a few months so far. Primarily cooking pancakes. The nonstick surface works very well. I haven't had to use additional butter or oils or sprays. The temperature of the surface seems very consistent across the whole griddle, so everything cooks nice and evenly.When making sausage patties or burgers, the grease travels to the drain cup very easily, as it should. Although I wouldn't have minded a larger grease container as this one can fill up if you are making multiple burgers.My favorite part is that the griddle fully detaches so you can wash it in the sink very easily. It states that the griddle is dishwasher safe, but I'm hesitant to test that.The base is sturdy. And super easy to clean. As is the grease trap cup.The power cord wipes up easily and the numbers on the dial are embossed, not painted, so they won't wipe off leaving you wondering just what setting you are on. But there isn't anywhere to conveniently store the power cord.I knocked a star off for the smallish grease trap and lack of cord storage.Hands down the best portable griddle I can remember using, would definitely buy again but perhaps a larger model of available.Edit: almost 18 months of use in a household of 4. Still cooks very evenly, no burn spots or thin spots on the griddle surface. Thing still looks brand new. I did have a slight problem with the temperature setting dial. Somehow it became dislodge and wouldn't function properly. Contacted the manufacturer and they sent me a new one. Fantastic customer service, they stand by their product! So I make this an official 5 star product.

I recently took to the dumpster a grill about nine months old. My mistake — this time I ordered a perfect grill. In fact it’s the best one I’ve ever owned — absolutely easy to clean even without putting it in the dishwasher, which you can do. Heats evenly and quickly.I’m really pleased!The fact that you can take the grill out of its plastic encasement and put it into the sink or the dishwasher is a design masterpiece. It is extremely easy to clean and can be operated at a very low temperature quite successfully. I just want a dad this sentence to the review to see if it works

This grill has a great design because everything comes apart. The griddle top is dishwasher washable. The bottom part has no electronics so it's washable too. The griddle lifts right out, nothing to snap apart or struggle with when it's covered with bacon grease and pancake drips. It has a nice little grease catcher drain and seems extremely nonstick. For the money, this is an excellent product.

After struggling to make evenly cooked pancakes forever using a pan that sits on an electric cooktop bridge element, I gave up and bought this electric griddle. Fantastic! Heats quickly, easy to set up and store, cleans up like a breeze and makes GREAT pancakes. One star off because there is a cool spot on the side where the control dial is. Need to cook the pancake longer on that side. Otherwise very pleased with this product and recommend.

Larger than our previous one, love the extra space. The larger size allows you to use this to cook a wider variety and larger quantity of foods. The removable tray part is why this is the best one we've tried, it was a game changer for the post cooking clean. It also does not get sticky. Value is great - even if it's a little bit more pricy, the time you save in cleaning is 100% worth it.

Been looking at this griddle for a while and finally saw it for a good price. This is the "deluxe" model so the cooking surface can be lifted off with handles for cleaning. As you can see in the photo, it holds an entire pound of sliced bacon. I read a review that the underside, which also gets very hot from the heating element underneath, cracked the reviewer's quartz countertop. Since we also have quartz counters, I placed it onto our clean glass range top and it did fine. Made shredded hash browns, a cheese omelet and as you can see, it holds an entire pound of sliced bacon. Our range top very slightly tilts toward the back, so the bacon grease needed a little encouragement to move to the front drain groove. But once it got started, it ran through very well. Next time I'll turn it around so the drain's on the back. After the bacon finished frying, I turned it off and gently scraped the surface with a silicone spatula, pulling all the remaining melted fat and crumbs to the drain. Worked like a charm. According to Dash, the basic model's grill surface doesn't detach for washing, so I'm glad I ordered the deluxe. It washes easily in a sink under running water with a soapy sponge. (No need to fill up the dishwasher because it's rather big for that.) I've seen this for sale for $70, but I got it on a pre-Christmas sale for $40 and feel I got a great bargain. Thanks Dash! This is the 3rd of their products I've bought, been happy with all of them, and use them frequently. Recommended.
