I have a Miele CM2500 espresso machine and the machine calls for these tabs when it wants to clean the brew unit, and are meant to be placed in the coffee ground chute during cleaning. *NOTE* These tablets are not for the descaling cleaning process, which require the larger descaling tablets (Miele SKU:5626050), which come 6 to a card, and are placed in the water container. When Amazon has these, they sell them for the identical price Miele themselves do, but Amazon offers free shipping where Miele doesn't.
