*actually* changed my life
I am not a morning person and I never have been- and, I’m not the kind of person who writes Amazon reviews, but this clock has changed my life. I refer to it as my “magic alarm clock” every time my family remarks that they are surprised to see me up before the crack of dawn. I used to be the kind of person that would silence my phone alarm over and over again until I had 10 minutes to get ready and then I would regret every decision I ever made. I set this clock up across the room on my dresser so I have to get up to turn it off and I haven’t gotten back into bed once. Immediately after implementing this clock in my routine, I went from waking up at 9:00 am every morning (groggy and grumpy) to waking up every morning at 6:00 am with a bounce in my step. The light peacefully wakes me up before the alarm ever goes off (and when the alarm does go off I don’t mind it because it’s beautiful bird song). It was easy to program, you can change the brightness of the time reading so it’s not glaring orange at night… I have no complaints. Best purchase I’ve ever made.

It does the thing.
I kinda have a lot to say about this alarm clock.I have a hard time waking but to just sound. I sleep in a room that has zero natural light, so i wanted to see if getting an alarm that imitates natural light would do the treat and it does! But here’s the problems I have..I still have not figured out how to change the light color. What the instructions say to do didn’t work, so I’m not sure. I was hoping to set different colors for the different alarms or for the fall asleep feature, but at this point I’m not really convinced it changes colors or if this is even something it can do.. still working that one out. When you turn off the alarm, the whole thing turns off.. okay that sounds stupid, but the whole point of this was to bring in light and I wish I could just turn the noise off and still have the light on. I have accidentally went back to sleep because of this lol.. that’s more of my problem, but I’ve now gotten in the habit of turning my lamp on before turning it off so whatever. The sound I agree with most is a little annoying. I have it on the birds chirping, or I should say one bird.. lol he’s on a 3 second loop of the same sound.. my husband joked that there must be only one bird in that forest that has one tune, we have named him Paul now after hearing this one note bird several times haha. All in all it does wake me up a lot easier than regular alarms, but for the $55 I paid… I just think that’s overpriced for what it is. I feel like this would be a good alarm for kids, but I see where adults have found this annoying.

Best “alarm”
I am not a morning person. I hate waking up to an annoying loud sound but music or gentle chimes never woke me up. The light gentle wakes me , but I still use my phone alarm as a back up. I will be repurchasing this as gifts for my friends and family.

Gets the job done
Got this for teenage grandson who kept being late for school, hasn't been late since. Kind of cool. He doesn't use the sleep mode so can't speak to that.

Great alarm clock
Love this alarm clock. It illuminates with a beautiful light and birds chirping. Great way to wake up in the morning!! I would like if it had a remote control. But other than that. I love it.

Emits extremely high EMFs
I've used this alarm for a year now. Though I really like it and it definitely helps me wake, I recently was given and Electro Magnetic Radiation detector. I went around my house with it and of course there are some areas that light up red meaning it's high and potentially unsafe levels (EMFs are considered potentially carcinogenic by the WHO & I'm sure there are other potential risk factors that disrupt us). The reader lights up red at 40 v/m with a warning. When near this alarm clock it reads at ~515 v/m. This is FAR beyond anything else I've found in our house. Some things will read in the 100s & 200s, but never that high. Even our radiator space heater is less.Anyway, I will no longer be using this, which is unfortunate because I really did like the clock but I just don't feel comfortable having something like that right by my head all night.

Great alarm clock, pros outweigh the cons for me
I have been using this alarm clock for about 3 months now. I wanted to give my honest review on this product. My Pros:- The alarms are a great selection and are pleasant to wake up to in the morning (especially compared to my old alarm clock)- I LOVE the sunrise simulation. I have it as my first alarm - no sound. So I'm waking up to a peaceful sunrise. It's been great for me, especially during the winter months when it's really dark and I don't want to get out of bed. It's a nice gentle way to wake up in the cold months.- Pretty east to set up and use. As I stated before I have the sunrise simulation as my first alarm and have it go for 20 mins before my second alarm goes off to tell me to get out of bed.- You can change the alarm time without having to go through all the motions of selecting your alarm sound, volume, length of time, etc. It took me a little while to figure that one out.My Cons:- The USB cord is on the shorter side so if you need a longer cord you will need to get one.- I do wish the numbers that show the time were a little bigger, they are smaller than what they were on my last alarm clock and for those with glasses it's hard to read the time from across the room if I'm wanting to check the time after waking up in the middle of the night (I have my alarm across my room so it forces me to get out of bed and not go back to sleep (but lets be honestly it doesn't always work lol)).- The instructions state that you can only push snooze 5 times. So if you really struggle to get out of bed and need more than 5 snoozes this may not be the alarm clock for you....or get a second alarm clock, like your phone alarm for extra security????I have not used the sleep mode so I cannot give an opinion on that function.Overall, I really love this alarm clock and can live with the cons as the pros outweigh them immensely for me. The sunrise simulation has been beyond incredible in helping me to get out of bed in the mornings now. I would even say this would be a great alarm clock for those whose window doesn't get/face the morning sun.
