The fabric is light, stretchy, and very soft. This makes for a good fit that doesn't irritate the heck out of you skin or beard. They are pretty easy to breathe though and do not feel heavy. Plus they look cool. These are by far the best gaiters I've found. I ride and I often wear one between my helmet and jacket to protect my neck. They do a good job of not flapping in the wind due to the stretchy fabric being just tight enough. Flapping clothing on a motorcycle drives me insane. I have also used these for other activities like yard work and as of late they serve as my pandemic mask. These work wonders for lawn mowing in dry weather. Here in Wisconsin it's been dry, but the grass still grows. When I mow, it kicks up all kinds of dust and crap. It gets in your eyes, up your nose, mouth, beard, down your shirt, etc but these help keep all that crud out (with the exception of my eyes of course).

I love this product. With cool mornings on the bike, it’s great as a face mask blocking the chill while riding. As the temp goes up, I pull it up and use as a head covering under the helmet. It’s light, very soft, and extremely comfortable. THIS IS NOT A COVID MASK - but it looks a helleva lot better than what most people use at the store. So, I wear it to stores. If you do the same, wash hands prior to putting it on, don’t touch your mask or face while wearing (not a problem with this because it’s just that soft and comfy), wash hands prior to removing, and then wash hands again (sorry for the PSA). Then, throw it in the wash. You get a lifetime guarantee with this so wash it all you need - it will hold up and keeps looking great! Mine has been in the washer 7 times and looks just as good as the day I got it. I highly recommend this product!

I use it for Construction and Carpentry work. It is an absolute life saver in the winter months!!!. It's thick enough to block the wind, yet allows the breath to escape. It never feels constricting and the exhalations don't form that uncomfortable moisture buildup forming around the face and mouth. This is easily worn around the neck when not in use and provides a great amount of protection from the cold there as well. I have one of every pattern they make. I own about 8 of them, they are that good. Inexpensive and last for a very long time. The rest of the crew that works with me have all converted and echo the same remarks as me!!! The face mask arrived on time and I was able to get a few weekends with it now. I enjoy the quality of the print on the mask. It works well and keeps your face warm. Con: It does fit a little loose. I am 5'10 with average neck size. Its not a huge issue, but if you normally like a tighter fit, this may not be what you are looking for Besides that, loved the design and warmth!

First time buying from this company and it was perfect. I rarely write reviews but I wanted others to know how good these masks are. The material is the perfect elasticity for the fit. It is thicker than a bandanna, but breathable like one, possibly better. The material provides the right amount of coverage as well as protection. The warmth is hard to determine, but in summer riding is not too hot. The colors are done beautifully and although the washability is yet to be determined, I feel this product is still perfect for the purpose.

In this time of the Pandemic... with face coverings being required in some places... I can walk in with my American made Face Cover and feel very Patriotic sporting the Old Glory or the faded black and white American Flag. I’m so comfortable wearing this product, that after I leave the store, I just slide it down and wear it around my neck... forgetting that it’s even there. Very breathable... Stays in place... It’s so lightweight... Looks Amazing... I love it. This is a GREAT PRODUCT... and a Great Company... after my initial purchase in 2016... They replaced the one I lost... this is my second mask from this company. I originally picked it up during covid. At work we had to wear a mask and this was perfect for the type of work I do as a first responder. Recently with the extreme cold I decided to pick up a second one because I'm using these on a daily basis now. It pretty much stays around my neck all day and then when I'm outside in the brutal cold I just pull it up to keep my face warm. I've had my original one for over 5 years and it's holding up just fine.

I bought this to wear on my motorcycle in cooler weather. I picked this specific one because I liked the idea of the tube scarf and the design looked great on screen. After a few rides, it fits a bit snug to what I was expecting, it's not really and issue. However, it's not exactly as thick of a material as I had hoped it'd be. This would be better suited for a sunny day to keep the sun off your skin, not so much for a real cold day.

There are similar products, however I have yet to find any with the quality and price point of Indie Ridge.
