You get what you pay for. In this case, that's a piece of rubber - so can't go that wrong. Mine sadly came in the wrong color and didn't fit my brakes - but are easy enough to cut of. Then I realised this was a silly idea to begin with. But, if you wanna try it. They'll do the job, i guess.
