The Alpicool T60 is the BEST Portable Fridge/Freezer!
I LOVED my Alpicool T60 dual fridge/freezer so much, that I bought a SECOND one just 7 months later! As a woman starting over again in life and renting a small room in another person’s house while I set up a business, I desperately needed my own refrigeration (don’t get me started on living with others—but this is temporary). Anyway, this gives you context as to how I’m using my Alpicool T60’s; I use them daily and never unplug them. This is an expensive purchase, so I did a LOT of research into buying the best brand that’s not top-of-the-line expensive; I certainly don’t want to spend this much and have it break or experience poor customer service. I’ve always wanted one of these dual fridge/freezers. It was delivered quite quickly, too. Here are my observations:WHY I SELECTED THIS PRODUCT OVER OTHERS:----------------------------------------------------------------❶ CAME HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: Making an expensive purchase means buying products others recommend. And Bob Wells of the RV living community tests many different brands. I trusted his judgment and those of his community, and he did not disappoint.❷ AMAZING FEATURES: Here’s what I love about this product:►►► (a) A LIGHT: Love that so you can see your food when you open it!►►► (b) AN INSULATED COVER YOU CAN BUY SEPARATELY: I did buy the cover to help keep the temperature lower. It looks great and has pockets for the manual and all parts, which is a lifesaver when you need it.►►► (c) EASY TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO USE THE LCD CONTROL PANEL: Though daunting at first, it was relatively easy to figure out how to use.►►► (d) WHEELS ARE A LIFE SAVER: Believe me, even if you’re able-bodied, it’s very difficult to move this large fridge/freezer around once full. Wheels make all the difference. I have a bad back and chose this because it has good wheels.►►► (e) QUIET: I almost forgot to mention that it’s SO quiet because I don’t hear it much. But this is an important feature to recognize, especially if you live in close proximity to this fridge/freezer that is always plugged in. On occasion, you’ll hear a very low sound, but it kind of sounds like a brief, soothing ocean wave (BONUS!), and is so low, I often don’t hear it every time it kicks in.►►►(f) LCD CONTROL PANEL IS HELPFUL: I find myself in a contest with myself (I know, sounds strange, but that’s me) to keep the temperature as low as possible by shutting the lid faster every time. I have never in my life cared to view the temperature of my fridge or freezer, yet it is illuminating to discover how much the temp rises when the lid is open so as to change my habits. This control panel makes this easy. And if you get bored on occasion, walk by regularly to see just how much ambient room temperature affects the temps inside. Fascinating ☺❸ CAN BE USED DAILY OR FOR CAMPING/EMERGENCIES: I needed this product for everyday refrigeration and as a freezer; it does not disappoint. And when the time comes to purchase the home of my dreams, I’ll save mine for camping trips and emergencies.❹ USING OR NOT USING THE GREAT BASKETS: The Alpicool T60 comes with baskets on each side, which is great for someone who can hold a lot of weight. But I never use them due to having a bad back. In addition, pulling out a basket could mean items topple over, which isn’t something I care for. So even if I were in perfect shape, I wouldn’t pull out the baskets at all. But keep in mind I use mine as my primary fridge/freezer daily; this might differ for you depending on how you use it and your health. This means using minimally-sized containers for smaller items whenever possible. Because if you need something on the bottom, you must take out EVERYTHING. It’s just the nature of a chest type of fridge/freezer and really isn’t too much of an issue; just be sure you have a nearby table or surface you can use to place food items on as you retrieve those on the bottom.❺ QUALITY: The Alpicool T60 is very sturdy and well-built to date (handles excluded).JUST A FEW CONS:--------------------------✖ FROST BUILDS UP FAST IN FREEZER & FRIDGE: No matter how much I try to keep the lid open as short a time period as possible when retrieving food or stocking it, frost builds up FAST in the freezer AND a bit in the fridge portion. If you keep it plugged in all of the time, I recommend defrosting/cleaning once a month, or you lose inside space due to frost building up a lot. I freeze ice in mine, and place frozen cubes in plastic bags; the next day there will be frost built up on those ice cubes and in the bag, too.✖ IT’S WAY TO COLD AT BOTTOM OF THE FRIDGE: I don’t think there’s much that can be done about this; it’s likely just something that happens with this type of fridge/freezer and the way they’re all built. But keep in mind that if you put eggs at the bottom of the fridge, they WILL freeze. And it’s true that items you place at the top of either section will not be as cold as those on the bottom. The manufacturer states this, and it is very true. So it’s best to keep this in mind when stocking either side.✖ HANDLES ARE FLIMSY: During my pre-purchase research, I read a few reviews of this product stating that the handles easily break. This was helpful knowledge for me. So what I do is I am VERY careful with the handles and handle them with “kid gloves” so they don’t break.--------------------------❤ CONCLUSION ❤ I love my Alpicool T60’s! They’re beautiful and functional and I’m SO happy with them. I know you will be, too!--------------------------★ BONUS ★ EASY METHOD TO DEFROST: found a quick/easy way to defrost: (1) unplug and remove food (of course). (2) Place a hot bowl of water in each side and close the lid. (3) After 30 minutes, replace water and wipe down with a soft, clean, wet cloth. Be sure to follow by wiping off all water with a soft, dry cloth. You may have to do two rounds of hot water. It takes only a maximum of two hours or less from unloading to reloading time.

Greatly improved hot environment efficiency
I wish I had gone ahead and gotten this when I first ordered the relevant cooler. As I keep the cooler running near constantly, I noticed that it can have trouble keeping things super cold during the day while parked as temperatures outside the truck reach 90-100, while I'm home sleeping, I have no idea how hot it's actually getting inside the truck...This seems to add a significant amount of insulation and allows the refrigeration system to not have to fight anywhere near as hard. Plus the bag zips and velcros shut so there is no chance of accidentally opening the cooler.Offers a clean look. Fits the alpicool t60 very well, and the pockets are great for storing the power cords. This gives great convenience, and lets me keep them with it without taking up room in the cooler. I have no doubt that the savings in foods not spoiled will compensate the cost from things left over the weekend and in heat waves. Additionally the d-rings are a great addition that can allow me to secure the cooler while I'm traveling.

Great add on to the T60 Alpicool
The media could not be loaded. I read reviews saying this was a tight fit but that was not the case. This is the T60 cover for the Alpicool T60. This does help the cooler to not cycle as often and stores the AC and 12V cords with room to spare. I would buy this again in a heartbeat. The only issueI have is that the wheels may rub on the top edge of the wheel cut out over time. I may add a foam topper to lift the bag up off the wheel when transporting it.We used this while traveling in our 2016 Ford Fusion. It took up 2/3 of the back seat w/ enough room for a backpack to sit vertically beside it and belted in. Running 12V off our River Pro for 17 hours (75% to 22%) charge.

Fits Perfectly and Well Made.
This cover seems very well designed and made. The zipper comes up the back corners, and up to the top front. When it's closed the clasps are under the front flap. If you're going to be in and out of it a lot, just unzip it to the top rear corners and use the flap (which has hook and loop fasteners) to keep it closed. I added double foil- double bubble wrap on all sides and top between the cover and cooler to add more insulation. Works great!

Also fits the Alpicool ALPT60
Purchased to help protect the cooler and provide extra insulation so it doesn't have to run as much. Snug fit, smooth zippers, handles are easily accessible, cooler vents are able to vent, wheels still move freely, and the front pockets are useful for cords and cooler instructions storage.
