I use this to cool my external hard drives under the desk. Easy to install. This thing blows a lot of air even though it is tiny. Does make some noise when the room is silent though but not too bad.

The fan arrived earlier than expected and offered some unexpected benefits. I wanted the format this fan provided, but I was concerned that previous reviewers claimed the unit was "noisy."At least for my fan, nothing could be further from the truth - it is super quiet. In fact, I could not ask for or expect better.In addition, the fan came with a surprise speed controller. Bottom line: I am well satisfied with this fan and cannot recommend it more highly. I would buy it again in a heartbeat if the need arises.

I'm glad this has a speed control as it serves more than one use in my case, whether that be adding extra cooling to my computer or even cooling down a hard drive being used outside of a computer, glad I bought this
