I ordered this product when a neighbor girl came to stay with me after getting kicked out out of her fathers house. I didnt know at the time that she had head lice and was infested bad. I searched many many treatments and their reviews. I was very stuck on this product. I wanted it especially after reading the reviews. So I ordered it right away, if the bigger package would have been Prime I would have ordered it but I couldn't wait, I got the family sized bottle with comb. I treated my hair and my sons but never found anything. After she put the treatment in (not even comb it yet) the lice started falling off her head. My bathroom floor was literally covered. I can honestly say I never even knew what they looked like until then. We left the treatment in for a long time. Actually to be honest she left it in for about 24 hours because she was worried. I left mine in for hours because they decided to purge our fire hydrant and it pumped rust and dirt in water so....i didnt have a choice. HOWEVER, it made my hair so incredibly soft and unlike other treatments it didnt ruin anyones hair. Amazingly it killed and removed all the lice on her head. I am still so blown away.I HIGHLY recommend Wipe Out to anyone having any issue. Her and I have a TON of hair and I even let her sister do her hair and she has a lot, my son even had his head done and there is still over half a bottle left. If you are looking for something that really works THIS IS THE STUFF FOR YOU!!!! Dont waste your money on all those chemicals that destroy your hair and may not work. Oh my word and the smell <3 <3 it is heavenly, I read some that it had a strong chemical smell (or maybe that was somethibg else) but I disagree, it smells amazing and works even better. Everyone said it smelled great and I even had compliments from people on the smell of my hair who didnt even know.I definitely, definitely recommend this product.(I also bought the lemonheads spray and it is ALSO amazing and smells great)

Doesn't kill lice at all. But the comb is super effective compared to all the other combs that come with the different kits. It also makes your hair super soft. If you have course hair, this changes your hair into silk. And if you use the Head Hunters Lemon Heads Repellant spray, you literally will have the silkiest, smoothest hair ever. No joke. My daughter has always had dull dry hair and the Head Hunter products have made her hair really manageable. I have used those oils that are suppose to make the hair anti frizzy and lustrous, they just make the hair seem oily and don't really work. So this doesn't work for lice but they should sell this as a product that keeps your hair silky and smooth.To be clear, when this didn't work we went to the doctor and got sklice, which killed the lice. I followed the directions for this product and used it on dry hair as instructed. The problem is my daughter sees her dad every other weekend and they are not treating for it. She used the spray at her dad's, she was careful with her head being on furniture and using the spray... She got lice again.This doesn't kill lice.

*UPDATE: As of November 2019, no sight of lice in any of the kids. They have been around people that I know have them, which honestly makes me cringe! But my kids know to keep their distance. I have asked them how are they enjoying being lice free. The answer is " so good" I actually treated them last week because I found out they had been around someone who had them and I just wanted to treat them. Even thought they didn't have any, I checked. If you want to get your life back just buy it!*original post: It has been a big relief for our family to know that we are not struggling with those nasty little bugs anymore! I have four kids (2 girls and 2 boys), of whom all at one point have had lice. It's like a cold going around. One gets them and if you don't know or work on it immediately the others will get it. My oldest got it when she was in k5 and we had them on and off through the years. It was awful! The thing with these bugs, is that you constantly have to be working on their hair, if not then you will sit there for hours on end. I have tried everything I can afford through the years, walgreens brand, walmart brand, coconut oil you name it. Well one of my kids got sent home and it was just embarrassing for him to be sent home. I had to just say to myself, that this was not going to be part of our life! So we got rid of our mattresses, bought new ones, washed all of their bedding's and searched on amazon. I found this shampoo, I was not sure if the $30 something dollar shampoo was going to fix this big problem, so I spent the money. After reading all of the reviews, I was just desperate for a solution. When I got it, I smelled it and was surprised at how pleasant the smell was. The only problem I had was twisting up the pump,, I tried many times but in the end I just opened it up and used it like that. I parted their hair in section and just put as much as I could on their scalp. The remaining treatment I rubbed it on the rest of the hair. Left it on their heads more than 20 mnst because I wanted to get rid of them. I placed a shower cap on them, so after that I sent them to the shower and I personally washed it off, in the shower I ran the comb thru the hair. Afterwards, towel dried their head and ran the comb again. I got so many eggs out, the comb is the best. My kids didn't like it at first because of the tightness of the comb but it was so effective with pulling the eggs out! Two days later I treated them again. Same process. I have asked my kids how does it feel not to have lice anymore? The reply is "its nice not to be scratching" I am so happy, so pleased with the product. I have treated four kids with this big bottle and about to buy another one because I don't want to take a chance. It's safe to use every day, if you wanted. I would tell you that even though the shampoo helps a lot, the thing that helps more is the comb. Because that is the thing that gets the eggs out and even the ones you don't see. I can now fix my girls hair anyway I want without fearing someone might see lice or eggs on them. I recommend this 100%

If you’ve got long hair, you’re going to need a lot of the product, so go ahead and get the big bottle. The comb is great, too. You can comb the product out of your hair wet. I’m not sure how well it works, but we purchased this as a preventative measure. It smells like crushed sweet tarts. If you don’t mind a strong scent of fruity candy following you around, it beats destroying your hair with other options.
