I have now been using "We Like Vitamins" Berberine 900mg capsules for approx three months (1 bottle, 180 caps, 2 caps per day) and have recently ordered/received a second bottle. I started to use Berberine to enhance heart health, with the goal of eliminating the need to take cholesterol (simvastatin) and blood pressure (losartan) medications. One of the claims to fame of Berberine is its favorable impact on cholesterol and I'm happy to say, it did the trick and I've eliminated the need to take a statin drug (confirmed thru blood work). I was hopeful that it would also allow me to get rid of the blood pressure prescription, but alas it did not reduce my moderately high blood pressure and have restarted that medication. Clearly I'm happy with this result.But the best impact has been weight loss! I'm 5'11" and when I started taking Berberine I weighed 198 lbs - not morbidly obese, but definitely on the heavy side. I had begun curtailing food and drink intake about a month prior to starting this regimen, but all together I have lost 30 lbs, with the majority of that weight lose attributable, in my opinion, directly to Berberine. Weight was coming off at a rate of a pound a day, to the point I thought there was a problem with our scale. I've now leveled off at about 168 lbs (haven't weighed this in probably 25 years)I couldn't be happier. I've replaced a Big Pharma medication with a plant based product achieving the same results and have lost weight. Doesn't get much better than that!

I've been taking 1200mg for 2 months and it's worked GREAT on my blood sugars and weight loss. I went from 7.0 to 6.1 in 2 months, lost 15 lbs. I've been eating better too, but I think a good chunk was the support of Berberine. However, now I have intense low back pain, kinda into the hip joint. I didn't have any adverse digestive effects, no problem at all, but now this. I stopped the Berberine and my sugars have crept up, putting my a1c at 6.3 after 1 week without it. Even though I'm still low carb. My back pain got better, then I tried going back on Berberine for 3 days and the pain is back. Anyone else experience this? I can't find any information. I'd really love to go back on the Berberine!!

I did find this to be the best value per mg of Berberine for my needs available on Amazon. The caps are filled with powder that is bright yellow-orange, seemingly top quality. This is my first Berberine purchase, so I have no other experience to compare this with. I've been taking these as packaged, also have mixed the contents with probiotics to make my own two-in-one caps, and also with boric acid & coconut oil to use hygienically. I'm excited about the benefits I've been reading to improve circulation, blood sugar, cholesterol, antimicrobial etc and I would lean towards it being noticeably effective so far, after a few weeks of use now. I read it's best to take a break from it for a bit at this point. Also that it's best coupled with GFSE and/or querectin. I'm recovering my health from chronic pain and fatigue from probable Lyme that peaked with bacterial strep B sepsis. I received an email from the seller encouraging my feedback. I have found this brand of berberine is by far the best of all! I’ve tried different brands that have not gotten the results. As a matter of fact, I have to take more of the other to get even close to the results that I get with this brand.

Order 2-26-2019 and I received today 2-27-2019.Bottle is marked Made in the USA. Expiration date is Jan/2023. I think this is the still the cheapest in Amazon but please correct me if I am wrong. It is actually 450mg per capsule because the bottle marked 900 mg per serving; (2 x450 mg= 900 mg); therefore, the capsule is not 900 mg but 450 mg. The capsule does not have marked for 900 mg or 450 mg).The capsule is white and I opened it up and it is yellow power, I tasted the yellow power and it is very bitter. It is so bitter, I brushed my tongue many times and the bitter taste still there. Because of that I think this is by far the cheapest and good quality Berberine I can get in Amazon. If not, please let me know.I am Diabetic and I will update 3 months later on my results. Thanks.

I have used this brand of berberine for several years and considered it to be well worth the price. However recently my orders, and there have been two of them, have resulted in product of a different color, and every attempt that I have made to find out why the capsules are no longer yellow has met with failure. They brag about their new “live chat feature” but for the last week I have attempted several times a day to use that wonderful feature only to find that “We Are Off-line”. I’m afraid I just cannot trust a company that makes wild claims and obviously does not support them. I have switched to another brand and this review is simply to warn consumers that if the business known as “We Like Vitamins” cannot be trusted in their promises they may not be trustworthy as regards their products.

This a review of my personal use with the product - Your results may vary.I was told from a friend to give these a shot because they were being touted as natures ozempic. As a heavier guy, I always give anything a try.For the first couple weeks, I felt more energy and slept better but not much else. I didnt gain or I didnt lose during this time period. Just stayed basically the same. My appetite wasnt curved, my pee was extremely yellow, well everything was yellow.After 2 weeks, I was back to the same tired feeling and was asking myself why am I even bothering. Scale didnt move and didnt do a whole lot for me.
