Very nice formula and safe for sensitive skin. This is one of the few cleansers that worked well with my skin. It gives a nice and refreshed look to the skin and has a great subtle scent, definitely would buy again.

This is a review for sensitive, irritated, dry skin. The Tatcha Rice Wash has a very thick paste like feel. It is almost grainy. It can be hard to spread if you don't use enough water. I suggest a dime sized amount, a little goes a long way. This face wash doesn't have harsh foaming agents in it, so you just kind of see a white cast on your face as you're washing it. Rinse very thoroughly. This left my skin cleaner feeling than I've ever experienced, and it was not incredibly stripping. I get face rashes and reactions often. Most products are too harsh for me, but this face wash seemed to diminish my redness and calm my skin. It really does clear pore or sabaceous filliment build up on the nose as well. A moisturizer is absolutely necessary after this face wash for me, but I don't think many people will find it very drying. I believe this is a lesser drying product than most I've tried. I would definitely recommend this face wash, it's amazing in quality. Thank you.

Love this face wash. I’ve been having perimenopausal acne and this face wash has really helped. It feels mildly exfoliating but not drying at all. I can’t use it regularly with the Tatcha polish but even alone it makes my skin feel better. It’s not drying and my acne is so much better! Love their return policy if you purchase directly from Tatcha. The smell is mild but good to me as well.

I waited nearly a month to write this review so I could give the product enough time to really do its job. I can say it's excellent for people suffering from slightly uneven skin, rosacea, fine lines, and enlarged pores. I was also experiencing very dry skin around my mouth and it's all but eliminated my skin issues. I'm not sure if it's designed to plump but I feel like after daily use my fine lines are less prominent than before. I use this face wash with my favorite moisturizer, first aid beauty's coconut moisturizing primer and it's a fabulous combo for my skin. I will be purchasing again!

Tatcha The Rice Wash is very nice at exfoliating, but the fragrance is a little too much for my liking. It’s not suitable for people with extremely sensitive skin due to the strong fragrance and somewhat rough texture. However, if you don’t mind the scent, it leaves the skin feeling clean and smooth.

Light, nice smell, feels good on my face and my face feels nice after it's rinsed off.

I have very dry and sensitive face skin. This face wash cleanses so well without drying me out or causing irritation. There is a slight scent to it but it’s not overpowering.

This is the first time I've used this product. It was recommended to me by a good friend so I thought I'd give it try. I love it! It doesn't leave my fact feeling dry or tight! It rinses off easily as well. It's a bit expensive, but worth it, so far.
