Reflects rapid scientific development in the field, as well as implementing changes in the systematic principles, guided by the way actual use has departed from original intentions for the axis system, which in this edition has been abandoned. If you need a copy - this is a brilliant price. DSM-V comes with a range of controversial issues, so from an ethical standpoint you may decide to await the publication of ICD-11. If that is not an option, go for this offer while it is still available.

Invaluable for my CBT course and now work. Good quality book that gets a lot of use. A good therapist should be able to accurately ‘diagnose’ the condition and select an evidence based therapy protocol that fits this diagnosis. DSM helps guide this.

I bought this to one of my friend in Pakistan and I didn't know what quality of the paper was she expecting but to be honest, i didn't had much of expectations for this price. But when she received it, she loved it and she told me it's not like original but it's very good.

I should begin by saying that I am not a psychologist or psychiatrist. I am a mom. Sometimes you just need to read for yourself and assess a situation honestly. Sometimes a single BIG lie that hurts everyone around you uncovers a more serious problem like narcissism or sociopathy. Sometimes it’s just a lie with huge ripple effects and it sucks! This book, if read honestly, can provide insights and help determine the next steps in handing situations and people. But in no way, having read through this book am I a professional.
