One Of My Favorite Soup Mixes, Needs Additions

This is a great soup base, but of course, it is only a base. I make it using about 3/4 cup LESS water and add about 3/4 cup Half 'n Half to make it creamier. Also add in *good* quality, diced surimi and if you have it on hand, a few heaping spoonfuls of jarred alfredo sauce really adds to the richness of the finished soup. It makes plenty for 3 - 4 good sized (i.e. meal-sized) bowls of delicious soup. Highly recommended!

Best Soup

This soup has been a family favorite for years. We use it as a base and throw shrimp, fish, mussels-whatever is on hand into it. It's also great all by itself! We always make sure we take several packs on our camping trips.
