Yes, you can set up on this tripod with your Koolehaoda Q80 Double handle ball head. The mounting screw on SIRUI tripod is convertible from 3/8″to 1/4″ for effortless switch between heads.

Q: Can you mount and edge pro easel on the siriu carbon filter tripod?

The tripod is designed to hold up to 8.8 lbs according to its specs that are listed. If you lowered the tripod somewhat (especially upper section) and spread the legs for stability you may be able to do what you need. The easel would also have to accommodate the tripod head attachment (arca swiss plate). I do not have experience with easels, but the tripod I have that is similar to this one does accommodate my cameras and lenses well. I tend not to go as high as the 8.8 limit. The Sirui tripods in general are very nice. I have several of them.
