Q: My current Canon battery savy 3.6 v, 680mAh 2.5 Wh (Li-ion). Is that the same as 900mAh on the Wasabi battery. What is the difference in mAH?

All LION & LIPO chemistry batteries produce 3.5 - 4.2 volts, depending on how charged up they are. 1,000 milliamps = 1 amp --- & --- Volts x Amps = Watts, so... 3.6v x 0.680 amps = 2.448 watts Because the battery delivers it's 0.680 amps for 1 hr (the "h" in the mAh) it's able to store 2.448 watt-hours 3.6v x 0.900 amps = 3.240 watts This battery claims to deliver 0.900 amps for 1 hr, so it should be able to store 3.240 watt-hours worth of electrical energy.

Q: how long does the battery actually last?

Sorry I have not timed it but I deid note that it lasted at least as long a the much more expensive Canon battery; perhaps longer.

Yes, it fit the charger that came with my camera . I did not have to get a new one.

Yes. Works perfectly...no discernible difference between Wasabi & original Canon batteries.
