How does it mount in a truck bed?

It does not come with mounting brackets or fasteners. We attached a block spacer to the back, to allow clearance for the lid to open, and strapped it in place with nylon tie-downs hooked to either side of the bed. Works perfectly. We love it!

Can I store this outdoors?

I have mine in my pickup that is parked under a cover. If left out I would not guarantee the life for a long time it not made of heavy duty material, but it is a good box

My lock doesn’t work guess I have to return the whole box?

Mines just a half turn? Mine worked the first time? Yeah I believe you'de have to return it.
