Bit tricky to apply but looks nice

This is my second purchase from DC fix and my fourth purchase of contact paper overall. Dc fix by far has the best product. It is easy to reposition, not prone to folding in on itself, and lasts a long time (mine went three years before some of the seams started wearing down). When installing, it took me an hour and a half less than when I tried to install a different contact paper on the same area. It is easier and less frustrating than other products. Bubbles are easy to remove and can also be fixed with a pin if needed. I will probably never buy contact paper from another company.

This contact paper is high quality and very nice looking. It does not look like cheap paper. It is very durable and does not scratch or puncture easily. Their is only one drawback and its probably my fault. Sometimes it doesn't stick well. I used it on a sewing table that is the laminated particle board and the top viewable areas stick well but the underneath does not. The underneath is finished the same as the top but for some reason it will not stick.

Hugely disappointing! This paper was an expensive mistake! I really wanted to love this paper - the colour and pattern are perfect. It feels nice and thick - so no worries about rips from being too thin, like other papers. However - the roll I received was bashed flat and had several bends in the length of the roll - apparently from where it had been stored before shipping, since the box it arrived in was fine. Ever the intrepid DIY'er - I tried to use it anyway, never realizing the damage had been done. Consequently, it ended up having permanent wrinkles on the surface of the paper in several places - long before attempted application. Wrinkles that could NOT be removed with any tool. This was my first attempt a using the contact paper for anything (bought for vanity top) - unfortunately, also probably my last.

Our kitchen counters were tired and needed help, but new counters aren't in the budget right now. This contact paper was so easy to work with and brought new life to our kitchen. I'm so happy with how it turned out. It will hold us over until our kitchen remodel next year.
