Great product. Very creamy and luscious
Great product. Very creamy and luscious. I had purchase a singular jar from another vendor before and it was kinda separated, maybe it was old. Not these they were what I thought the product should have been. I have extremely thick, black, wavy, curly hair (I'm Caucasian). It doesn't leave my hair oily looking or leave any residue as long as I let it dry naturally. When the hair is about 90% dry on its own then I can hit it with a hairdryer if I need to. I also use it on my 3 almost 4 year old. She has long, wavy on top, ringlets on the bottom hair. It's thick in a sense that there's a lot of hairs, but it's still kinda baby fine and knots up easily. This stuff works great in her hair too even if she sleeps on it wet. She'll still wake up looking like she has model hair. She gets so many compliments it's ridiculous. We both pair it with ECO Styler Olive Oil gel (super cheap) and I love it. Use the conditioner followed by the gel, scrunch and go. Super easy and I'm the happiest I've been with hair products in over 30 years.

Dude with medium length 4C hair - Low Porosity
This creamy, reasonably priced elixer is just what my hair needs. It's heavy but absorbent, creamy offers slippage, and helps fight dryness. The scent, is not perfume-like, which I like as that kind of scent gives me headaches. It smells low key like a light creamy clay. I have bought pricier leave-in conditioners (such as Quemet) that can cost 2.5 times more than this product. I am much happier with the Shea Moisture Strengthen & Restore Leave-In Conditioner. It has added luster to my twist out, helpful with frizz reduction, and although it seems heavy and creamy to the touch, absorbs beautifully into my hair. I am a big believer in rotating products such as leave-in so that my hair health has some variety to it's routine. But I know that I will always return to this as BAE.

I took a break from Shea Moisture. I am a long time customer. I started my natural hair journey with them after seeing them as an alternative to Miss Jessie's at a local target. I started with the regular original Raw Shea butter system. It worked for a while. Then my hair became extremely dry. So I switched to the Pink bottle collection the one advertised for curly hair. The exact same thing happened. It worked for a while then my hair became extremely dry but this time my hair was thinning. Then I tried the Yucca and Babao line. I can't comment on it because going from the smell of the pink collection to the green collection was dreadful. My hair stinked so that is when I discontinued Shea Moisture. During my strike lol I experimented with different hair methods (LOC, max hydration) and learned how to better care for my hair without the use of a "certain collection of products." When this collection came out I was interested. I was using JBCO for my edges. This is my favorite hair product! I created a daily leave in using this, water, JBCO, rosemary oil and peppermint oil. My hair has become sooo soft and strong. This is a staple product and I have a feeling that I found the collection that finally FINALLY works for me. My hair type is 4A if that helps.

I purchased this to start a weekly regimen for myself and my daughter. I use the Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Treatment Mask. The consistency of this product is pretty runny, the smell is pleasant and I like the moisture that it adds to my hair as well as my daughters. I have used it to do twist-outs on her hair, and the results are awesome. We have only had this for a couple of weeks. I will provide an update in the future.

A Moisture Retaining Plus For My Dry And Damaged Hair
This is a pretty good leave in conditioner for my 4C kinky, dry ,damaged hair ( I've damaged my hair from years of perms, dying and going through menopause) and I have some male pattern baldness in the very top of my scalp. I've tried so many products and none seem to help but this product along with some additional essential oils have prevented the baldness from returning. My hair is still shedding but no more complete bald spots. I use this at least 4 times a week under my wigs and have been able to maintain some hair growth. I also use it to do the "greenhouse effect" under a plastic shower cap and other essential oils and sleep with it in my hair overnight. I never wash it out but towel dry the excess oils out in the morning if I have to go out. So far after using it for 3 months I'm happy with the hair that I've retained and I credit it to using this leave in conditioner that helps establish moisture in the hair. It's the consistency of a lotion, and a little goes a long way !

Excellent product, smells great, doesn't leave hair greasy.
This is the only conditioning product I use anymore. I always get positive feedback from people about how great my hair smells when we hug, but it is not a pervasive odor that will bother "fragrance sensitive" people in your office. Many leave-in conditioners leave your hair greasy, but this doesn't, even a couple of days later. But, I do have generally dry hair. Naturally oily hair may have different results.I've been using this for about four years now, and my fine and aging hair looks great for it.

I cannot recommend this product enough. It works great!
This is, hands down, my favorite hair product. I had dreadlocks for 15 years. After cutting them in 2013, I noticed some hair loss and thinning. I still wanted to wear my hair natural and needed something that would not only keep it moist but also wouldn't get sticky or gunky. After about a year of trying many different hair products to no avail, I became depressed. One day, I ended up purchasing this product on a whim and decided to give it a try for a month or so to see how it worked. I kid you not, I was seeing little hair sprouts all along my hairline and my hair growth and thickness within a months time began to fill in amazingly. I still use this product to this day and I cannot recommend it enough. This is great for natural hair as it moisturizes and nourishes your scalp wonderfully. I live in the midwest and we have very dry and cold winters. This is great for protecting your hair and scalp during those dehyrating times.
