Great looking piece
I recently redid my study in a pirate theme and this compass was a nice addition. It looks old and the quality is great. The compass looks like it could have been on Calico Jack Rackam’s desk. And by the way, it actually works as a compass.

nice for the price
the calendar works and the compass needle can be locked in place. given how jumpy the needle is, I doubt it would work as a useable compass. good for creating a vignette in decor. price was reasonable for the look and features.

Compass was not as described
Not at all as described. First of all, the compass doesn’t even work, it points to 292degrees northwest. Second, there is no calendar in the lid, it is just blank metal. Third there is no push to open button, it opens via a knob on the lid. Very disappointed.

cool little piece
This is NOT an antique like some seem to think. It is modern produced with a "patina" look to it. It is a nice little piece that is a compass/100 year calendar pocket fob. I checked 5 random dates on the calendar from different years/dates. The 100 year calendar seems to be correct. The compass is an old style float needle. They are not a digital compass. It is good enough to walk around the woods and woods with and get you to a general area if you are not afraid of the outdoors to begin with. I really like it and will most likely order more as gifts for various family members. Just a cool little conversation/back up piece.

Nice piece, but calendar is a year off...
Very nice looking, I like it. Would give a higher rating if the calendar wasn't wrong. For June 2025, I had to set it to 24 for correct dates.

it works very well !
it is very accurate if you put it on a flat level surface ! its not very happy using it in your hand, the calender is absolutely accurate !!
