Works really well but be careful of some darts tip length can go through this to the wall. Expensive for what it is but does a reasonable job of protecting more of the wall than a circle surround

Opened package and found pieces were wrong, doesn't fit together. Not fit for purpose. Would give 0 stars if possible.

This surround totally exceeded my expectations. I have an 18" board, which limited the options available. (Most surrounds seem to be for 17 3/4" boards). This board looks nice with a cork finish on both sides, so you can hide the Viper logo if you want, or if it starts to get beaten up you could reverse it and have a completely new side facing forward. The soft core captured mis-throws really well. Nothing bounced out at all. I think it also looks good on the wall. The height of it is pretty long, and if you have reasonably accurate players you could probably leave off the bottom set of tiles. I like the looks with it on, however. I'm also thinking that the lower tiles would be a great place to attach Viper's laser toe line marker, which I didn't want to mount by screwing it to the wall. Note that they make another version of this that's available in a handful of colors. Personally, I liked the cork finish - it has a light and natural feel to it. One last note - the fit was perfect. Went on easily but snugly. Doesn't shift or move around after you straighten it out, and best of all, no mounting apparatus (screws, tape, etc.) to worry about doing more damage to your wall. It's not the cheapest option, but I find it worth the money for the protection and convenience it provides.
