Color in photo is off. Not red; more a mauve/brown.
Photo makes it appear as a red lipstick, but it is actually more a mauve/brown. I found the color very flatering for my skin tone (Iight to medium). I do not find this lipstick drying. On the contrary; I found it moisturizing without feeling greasy and on me it lasted from early morning until lunchtime.

Bella Pierre lipsticks are great!
Envy is a great every day color. More pink than brown. A deeper color than my natural but the shade I wish I had naturally. Color payoff is fantastic. Creamy and highly pigmented. I just ordered a second one as I know I will be using this a lot.

nice product but made in China
Nice color. Nice feel on lips. Doesn't bother my lips like latest formulations of Clinque and Almay, which I used for 40 years. Reason for 3 stars is: I was searching for USA made and this was made in China (PRC)

Wanted to like it....This brand sounds more natural with less chemicals and that appeals to me.However the color is a disappointment - much lighter than I thought.Also it has a frosty look and does not look smooth or natural on the lips. Very drying but initially onapplication has a sticky texture. The stickyness does diminish with time.Scent is not appealing but I could live with that if the color and other qualitieswere better. This lipstick also does not last particularly long - you need to reapply within several hours.I definitely won't be buying this again and realize how risky it isto purchase lipsticks on line. Shipping costs etc made this a not inexpensive purchase.

The name is the same. However, sadly this product has been altered from the original formula.
I have been buying bellapierre in the shade of Envy since it came out and would have continually given it a 5 star rating, until now. I saw that the tube had been redesigned but unfortunately so was the lipstick itself. It is now has a MUCH drier feeling and no longer has that small kiss of coconut taste to it. It was such a disappointment!I hate to see when such favored items get revamped. I'll be searching for new favorite from a different company.
