Beautiful story
Beautiful and powerful true story! There is one chapter that is difficult to read, but very important to how destructive the atomic warhead was/is. This book helps bring perspective and empathy for others in the world. Great to read as an adult and is appropriate for teenagers.

Great story, maybe not for kids
I knew the basic story of Sadako Sasaki but didn't know the details. It's such a sad but inspiring story. It's marketed towards children but not sure I would give this to a child unless I was comfortable talking about the concept of death with them. Maybe for teens?

Glad I came across this book...
Read this through in just an afternoon. Such a sad story but an important one. Was looking for a text to match to a piece of work I was developing. Tells the story of Hiroshima/Sadako and it’s legacy which isn’t easy to come across online. A book probably everyone should read. Great project to go further at the end.

Easy read
Easy book to read (text etc). So well written and heart breaking story. I mean, I know the story and how it goes but it certainly made me shed tears as I read
