The packaging says vegetarian. the information here says vegan. can you please explain which i should trust? i’m trying to make sure it has no animal

It says vegetarian, no soy, gluten, wheat, tree nuts or peanuts. no gmo or artificial colorants. it does not say the source really.... I can't tell if it comes from animal source.
