smaller lightweight pedals that don't spin easily
The media could not be loaded. These oil slick looking pedals look interesting but not much info, bit for $20 so I picked them up for a kids bike. The box was pretty beat up, but the pedals looked fine. They are butterfly shaped and pretty small at about 100mm x 90mm and as light as advertised. The spindle sticks out pretty far so the Q factor isn't as narrow as it could be, but it's suitable for a smaller adult or larger child.Probably the biggest things you immediately notice is they do not spin easily. I disassembled one pedal which was pretty simple to do, it's pretty solidly built but it's basically spinning on a greased up shaft, so resistance is high. Honestly this is a deal breaker for me, which is why it's only getting 3 stars. Maybe it would break in and spin easier over time though. The built quality seems pretty awesome but there are some sharp edges on the inside of the metal, nothing you would contact easily bit you can tell the metal is super sharp if you stick your fingers in the pedals. One thing I really like are the pins, they are smooth so they probably don't dig in hard but they also probably don't scratch your leg up horribly so thats nice for kids. They look replaceable but not sure, but even if you could find replacement pins probably not worth it at this price point anyway.I am not sure I can recommend these pedals due to the resistance in spinning, they are smooth but way too slow.

Looks Nice, but, Looks can be ...
I purchased these for a friend who like the look on the "Amazon Website". They were delivered when promised. Gave them to my Friend, whom has loved their looks, until he put them on. The pedels wanted to cross thread, took the better part of trying for a long period and getting frustrated, finally getting them installed. Fast forward to today, my friend just called me, saying, "Those peddles are starting to fall apart."I hope these are a fluc.D. Jubb, Disabled Veteran

Love these!!
Love these! Put them on my road bike. I had a couple of clip in falls so wanted to go flat for a bit but the flats that came with my bike I wasn’t crazy about. I’m glad I got these, no foot slipping and they feel great, highly recommend.

Outstanding value, look, quality.
I use Race Face for most of my bikes but I have installed several pair of these and they rock. Silky smooth... beautiful, light weight... just awesome for the coin. Recomend to anyone with a nice bike with stock flat pedals... worthwhile upgrade... half the cost of other high quality systems.

Cool appearance, stiff bearings
Got these for my wife's recumbent. She loves them. They grip her shoes well and give her plenty of contact area. The bearings are stiff and they don't spin freely, but this should wear in over time.
