Not Palestinian
I didn't do my homework on this, and now I'm pretty upset about it. This scarf was made in China. The keffiyeh is a Palestinian symbol, known unofficially as the Palestinian flag. To wear one is to express solidarity with Palestine. And that, I'm really cool with. That's why I bought it. But if you're buying one and you don't care about Palestine, that's pretty much cultural appropriation, which is still not really that bad if you buy one made in Palestine. But there's only one company in Palestine that makes them, they make really good ones, and they're struggling to compete with crappy imitation ones made in China, like this one.And even if you don't care about all that, this is still a really poor quality scarf. Spend the extra and feel good about supporting a small business in Palestine. I'm buying my next one from them.

Fantastic.
It works for the winter in below freezing temperatures. Can't wait till it's warmer to wear in style. Lots of compliments on the style.

Dont even hesitate. These are a steal!
Very likely the finest quality Shemagh I've purchased, and I have a few dozen from various sources. Weave is tight and basically flawless. The weight should be perfect for all weather conditions. I'm currently using in winter and it's hovering around 10 degrees f here. The tassels are among the cleanest I've seen on a Shemagh - very uniform and doesn't have loose strings hanging everywhere like so many others do.You can tell the makers of these actually take pride in their product. I got the black/grey one and I wouldn't hesitate to use it as a scarf out on the town in full business attire... it's that nice.I'll definitely be buying more colors!

Comfortable and versitle!
I didn't have high hopes for this shemahg as the loose thread on the design and tag was the first thing I noticed when taking this out of the packaging. However I'm quite surprised. The price is great and it's very comfortable. My husband had a wool one from the Marines that was warm, but I didn't want one that heavy. I bought this for when I go Urban Exploring because of how versitle the shamahg is. This one is lightweight, but when wrapped well keeps my face perfectly warm. It works well over my GoPro headmount as well. I've used it several times and aside from the snags that where already visible, it's holding up just fine. I'm going to end up buying another because they can be used as an emergency bandage/sling, among other things. It's really a must have for anyone that spends a lot of time camping, hiking, and especially for my fellow urbexers!

People swear by these things
OK, I've gotta admit, I don't wear these shemaghs myself, but my son does - he swears by them. And I'll say this: if I can find something he likes to wear during a week-long canoe trip with the Boy Scouts that'll protect him from being burned to a crisp in the sun - that's a good thing. He loves the feel and look of this big ol' wrap. He has them in 3 colors - brown, green and tan. They all look cool on him. (See my photos of the brown version.)

Nice Emergency Bag Item - Pretty Enough for Regular Scarf too.
For the car in case needed for the BOB (Bug Out Bag) or Get Home Bag (we have one backpack with emergency items and one with clothing/shoes if needed). We travel thru California desert areas frequently - so sun/dust (think earthquake) could be a possibility. Would not expect this to replace a N95 mask but has versatility. Picked a color based on price - but it's actually nice looking. Very soft, very reasonable quality at this price point, No smell. Machine washed first in a similarly colored pillow case and hung to dry (dried fast). Weight stored inside a gallon ziplock is 6 ounces (5.8 in a quart bag - tight wrinkled fit). Will order another for the other car instead of a bandana since either has a lot of possible uses in an emergency and we like this better than any of the bandanas we've picked up.

No more sunburns!
Two things to know about me: First, I live in the hot and humid South Texas Gulf Coast. It gets HOT here. Sunburn is a real issue here, especially for guys as white as I am. Second: I HATE sun screen. I hate the smell, the oily feeling, the constantly remembering to reapply.......and no matter how high the SPF, I still burn every time I am on the beach. So I bought this. I get a few funny looks on the beach as these aren't very well known accessories in this area, but I'm old enough to not care. It's light, breathable and provides the ultimate face and neck protection from the son. I never felt overheated wearing this.If I had to pick a negative, it's there are a few little strands that came loose after the first wash. Nothing that compromises the product or presents a problem, but worth noting. there is higher quality out there, but this gets the job done.

Beautiful product, but be a little bit careful
Just wanted something to keep my neck warm but didn't want a scarf. I'm well impressed with it now. Perfect for winter, suprisingly you don't get really warm in it either so if your cold indoors it works just as well. Add the flexability of being able to wear it many different ways and its good. There are some strands that keep coming loose but i think thats just how the material is made so be carefully if you catch it on anything.

Mummy, why's that man wearing a tablecloth?
Bought to replace a blue & white one purchased in Jordan many years ago, which an ex gf wandered off with......amongst other things. Washed it immediately it arrived, using just a cupful of white vinegar in the machine on a 30 degree setting, and am happy to report no problems with colours running, shrinkage etc.whatsoever,so it's now bagged up again, ready for the cooler weather, later in the year. Love the colour scheme too, which is subtle rather than garish.

Good quality cotton
Good quality cotton, just the right size for however you want to wear it. It's kept me warm in winter, cool in summer, and came in useful as a towel, filter, sling and bandage. (YES! Sling AND bandage! I've had some rough trips, okay?) Washes easily without losing colour or shrinking/stretching. Buy it, it's great. You can play dress up as a ninja/SAS guy. You know you will. (I did) (You will too.)

Good shemagh, essential kit
This is a good quality, well made and good sized traditional Arab Shemagh (also known as a Kaffeyah). The colour was slightly lighter than it appeared in the photo, but this isn't a problem, it's still a decent Shemagh. These are so perfect for the British climate all year round - they'll keep you warm when it's cold, and cool when it's hot.I use them mainly for camping, outdoors, and working at music festivals. They've been favoured in the British military for many years since the SAS was established in North Africa during WW2.There are so many uses for these if you are the outdoors type. It's a scarf, a hat to keep you warm, or sunshade when it's baking hot, a towel, a ground matt for sitting on or having a picnic, it can be used as an emergency bandage, a blanket, a pillow, a skirt or kilt, a bag for collecting things like firewood, even a water filter. I literally will not go camping or hiking without one!Now there is a legal face covering requirement due to Covid, this is going to come in handy this winter! What you get for that price makes it really good value. 5 stars and I happily recommend it, and if you haven't owned a Shemagh before and are considering one - just go for it you won't be disappointed!

Medium cost Medium quality
I was looking for a shemagh that would last longer than the others without looking tatty. Too many times my Shemaghs got a thread caught on something and pulled. After not opting for the cheapest option on Amazon I was hoping to find my perfect camping/hiking accessory. I found the quality to be better than the previous cheap Shemaghs I have owned but still not of the top quality I have seen from authentic Shemaghs from the middle east. The shemagh had pulled threads already, however this happened while washing in a machine and got caught on a bra hook which I should have been more careful about so I could have taken better care of it to avoid the pulling of threads.
