Loud and Clear
Whoohoo ... I am loving this thing. So I've been playing guitar for many years now, and I recently got a high-quality effects rack. Playing through the computer, I no longer need an amp (a hundred amp/cabinet combos at the touch of a button) but what I do need is a speaker. Line out xlr to a powered speaker - that's all you need. It is lightweight easy traveling. Guitar/Rack/Speaker - you can carry it all in one trip. Oh technology is amazing. And this speaker is great !!!! Better than great, it has 2 xlr channels and a 1/4 inch input, Seperate volumes that go loud enough to be heard over the drummer. Also provides a clean sound for playback. Extremely happy with this purchase.

Not bad for what I need it for
I have another similar powered speaker that I use every week. I am a pastor and also provide pastoral care in several nursing homes on a weekly basis. I started using a small powered PA system that I carried every week to the nursing home services. That was getting tiresome every week, and I wanted another so I that could just leave one in each nursing home so I would have it every week without schlepping it around all the time. I saw this small Gemini speaker and the price was right ( since things have a habit of 'walking away' in nursing homes). It is not a super high quality rock band fronting PA speaker, but it works perfectly fine to amplify my church services for the folks. I also play in a band, and have a massive PA system, so no, this will not compete in any way with a powerful, full range set up, but I only needed it to amplify my spoken words and it does that just fine. And if it 'walks away' it was inexpensive enough to replace without worrying about it.

Really good for price
Great range of sound with lots of inputs. Gets very loud. The knobs are kind of hard to tune right, and the mids are often drowned out. You can get any sound you want from it so it's not too much a problem.

I don't trust the speaker
Receive this speaker after buying it December 15th didn't with all the delays in Atlanta finally got it on just set or January 2nd opened it up hooked it up no power was like president for my kids so he had to wait an extra week and then the it made a noise it makes like high noises but none of the bases there none of the power was there so returning it so I don't know if this was just a bad speaker and all the other ones are good but I'm just going with my original speaker I'm going to get another war zone that one is tried and true I already have one

Good if you don't use your own audio mixing console
Let me start by saying that I absolutely love the various inputs this small, light-weight speaker has. Unfortunately, this is about it. If you connect a line-in source, or your own microphone into the back panel without using an audio mixing console, it will sound fine. However, I have a Mackie ProFX 10-channel audio console, and I need to frequently use this for hybrid Zoom calls, as well as local presentations. This speaker cannot handle it. No matter what kind of volume combination I use, the microphone output from the local people talking sounds distorted. The Zoom folks speaking and the music played sounds fine, but it's unbalanced all around. Maybe I'm not using it for its intended purpose, but for small gatherings and presentations of 10-25 people, this was not good. I got an Alto speaker for $30 more and it works much better.
