I owned this lens on my old Canon EF system and I was on the hunt for a decently priced version for my Nikon system after I switched. For some reason, the Nikon version is only offered for sale by scalpers on Amazon, for almost double the price of its Canon counterpart. Going back to the lens, it has gorgeous build quality, it looks beautiful on any body, and it offers a superb cinematic look like no other lens I've tested in its price category. Ideal for both photography and videography with a look and character to die for!While this lens has electronic contacts that communicate EXIF data to your body, beware that it's manual focus only with limited throw, and; therefore, requires some practice for precision focus when the aperture is wide-open.Highly recommended!
