Highly sour and spicy. Can be had only in small quantity like a pickle. Fish is in the form of flakes. This was my first experience. I shall try again.

I like the packaging most. It is fresh and tasty. In Kerela they call it pira. Ot is flaky and ready to eat with no spice so you can eat as an accompaniment to rice/chapati and even as sandwich spread.
