We used this material to close the gap between the aluminum frame of a greenhouse and new polycarbonate twin-wall glazing, in an effort to limit air exchange and thus better control the internal temperature. I love this stuff! You can use for anything if youre creative. Anti slip grips, buffer for preventing collision damage on just about anything sliding, pivoting or otherwise moving structure, device or object. Raised legs for surfaces that would normally scratch. Silence loud doors. Fill gaps that let light penetrate ordinarily. Attatch as raised surface for sight-free/touch-friendly assistance. Grip for bottom of pet bowls to stay in place. Cushion for walking stick, raised leg platform under phone for improved audio experience. The list goes on. If you take it out of the packaging and let it air out to get that cheap chemical smell off it, youll avoid trailing the odor around where it isn't appreciated. Depending on your specific setup, you might be pulling the smell in to your favorite room in the house because of the nature of the air flow, temp, pressure and because they are mostly made to block gaps.

Use it for my 1997 C-5 Corvette works pretty good very narrow although. Cut down on the sound of air coming in the window (while driving ). Didn’t feel like spending hundreds of dollars replacing the seal (original), right now. keeps the rain out around the seals of the two door windows. After a few months in the heat some ends began to come apart a bit, adds sticky black residue to the top of the side windows. Rolls are plentiful however you may need to use it all eventually. My requirement is to cover the air gap between the door and door frame. I got the product with delayed shipping but the product was in good condition. The glue is not strong enough, it peels off after a little use. It is thin strip which doesn't have the gip to hold it back to the door. Later, I ripped it off as it gave a bad impression, I crossed the return window as well, so have no use with the rest of it.
