MARES EQUATOR Dive Boots 2mm (UK 8)

Bought these to wear inside flippers for snorkeling off lava beaches. They were very comfortable. I fit women's size 9 and these were bought as (mens) size 8. They fit well. They feel durable and have sturdy soles.

Ich habe die Tauchfüßlinge zum Schnorcheln in Thailand getragen und auch auf Bootsausflügen. Die Sohlen sind so fest, dass ich mit den Schuhen über Felsen auf einen Aussichtspunkt klettern konnte. War nicht so vorgesehen, aber da keine anderen Schuhe zur Hand waren, ging es nicht anders. Die Schuhe waren perfekt dafür geeignet, da man durch die dünne aber stabile Sohle sehr guten Halt auf den Steinen hatte. Auch eignen sie sich sehr gut zum Schnorcheln im seichten Wasser und als Badeschuhe and Stein- oder mehr groben Korallenstränden. Man kann sie in Kompressionstüten ganz platzsparend verpacken. Ich bin vollsten zufrieden mit ihnen und kann sie jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

I used these in a 6 days scuba dive trip in Sipadan/Malaysia. I have a New Mares Volo Power Scuba Diving Fins - Black (Size Regular 9-11) . The water temperature was between 80ºF (26.7ºC) to 84ºF(28.9ºC), in Jul/2018. I normally wear US size 9, but after reading the reviews I bought one size bellow, US 8 and it fits just right! Pros Light (316g for the pair). Easy to put on and take off. Fit in my fins perfectly, no gaps, no squeeze. Easy to wash and dry (you can easily turn them inside out). While walking on fine sand, some came in, but very few. The heels are rubberized, which keep the straps in place. Easy to remove the water from inside, not need to take them off. Comfortable. After 16 dives/~50 min each, no sores. Cons They don't dry as fast as I wanted, but the place was humid, so I did not expect much. They run one size larger. Other toughts The soles are pretty thin, which might be a problem if you will be walking on rocks Update It is now 2023, 7 years have passed (and many dives) since I bought these in 2016 and they still look/feel great!!!

I have skinny feet so I had to send these back. They are really good quality and comfortable. Wish they made them in different widths.
