This kite is fabulous!!!! It's BIG! It's BEAUTIFUL! And it just wants to FLY and STAY UP THERE!!!!!! Very easy to fly! AND, you can easily break it down to store at home... the tails NEVER tangle!!!! BUT! You better buy one for everyone else to fly, or yours will be "borrowed for just a minute" and you won't get it back... My husband couldn't wait to get his hands on it!!!! So, I got him one... then his BROTHER took mine!!!! Arrrgh! I highly recommend this beautiful, well-made kite! The fabric is tough, durable, brilliantly colored and all stitched, not glued! Super well-made to last and last! I couldn't believe how little it cost for such a quality kite, either! It is a joy to fly! When is the last time you spread a blanket on the grass and just watched the clouds and sky and a brilliantly colored kite!?! Too long, I bet! It's good for mind and body... you don't realize it at the time, but you are moving a lot of muscles into positions they're not used to... lifting your arms and tilting your head back (instead of hunched over a keyboard!) You get a real workout without realizing it and you come home happily tired out!!!! And your mind is clear and calm afterwards, too, so many benefits!!! Just FYI, gloves would be a good idea... and maybe a backpack for your camera, water bottle, etc. so you can carry all your valuables with you easily and hands-free as you walk around working your kite. I named mine "Icarus", because it tries to go all the way up to the sun!!! And remember! All that string has to be wound back up on the spool again, so don't go crazy! The manufacturer is very communicative and supportive, and rightly proud of their product and go to great lengths to make sure you're happy! The only thing that I would suggest to them is to make this beauty in different color combinations... so your husband will stop using YOURS all the time!!!! :) Enjoy!!!!

When I first unpackaged this kite I thought it would be easier to assemble. It does require some gymnastics of the fingers to get the pieces together. My kite never came with the 2 extra rods. Once I got it assembled, I brought it outside and it flew straight up. This is the only kite I've ever owned that I've had a hard time trying to get down. Even when it was flat on the grass, when the wind caught it, it would take it up again! Boy did I have fun flying it for 3 hours. Although it did take an hour and a half to reel in, this kite is awesome. Just expect to take a long time to bring it down.

The ONLY reason I wouldn't give this 5 stars is because the way it comes it does not fly very well at all... UNTIL you make an adjustment. The outside sticks are in 2 pieces instead of 1 and you will not get the kite off the ground until you move those sticks closer together to pretty much overlap. You will understand what I mean if you buy the kite. HOWEVER, Once you move those outer sticks together To the point where they are just overlapping each other the kite flies immediately and PERFECTLY! I flew it for about an hour in both very low and very high winds and it performs exactly as you would want a kite to perform. I highly recommend this is long as you Follow that simple fix.

Exactly what I was looking for for at this price point. Exceeded my expectations in every way. My 8 year old daughter was able to assemble and fly this kite with next to no assistance from me (I helped tie the knot - more from my own nervousness than her capability). We had this kite flying on the beach every day this week, including just before and after Storm Isaias (it was flying almost sideways). The stitching and seams are top notch and the poles and tails are quite durable. Thanks for a great product. A.

This kite is awesome. I have never actually left an Amazon review before, but I wanted to for this kite. It worked so well...especially for the price. My family and I took it to the beach, and after putting it together, which takes about 2 minutes, we got it in the air so easily. Literally, all we had to do was hold it up and it took off. We let out so much string, I was concerned that it would break and we wouldn't be able to get it back down, but it held and was so beautiful. Everyone on the beach remarked at how high we were able to fly it. We flew it a couple times a day, even in high winds from tropical depression Julia, and never had a problem. I think my husband and I actually had more fun with it than the kids! I would sooo buy this again!

The kite looks great and assembles easily enough, bit during flight the two piece outside rods come apart on one side and causes the kit to crash. while it remains assembled it requires use of more than half of the line to obtain sufficient height to allow the kite to complete a large full loop without crashing into the ground, which it did most of its flights on Jan 1st as we were unable to get line out fast enough before the kite began its first loop. I would return this kite if not for the return period having expired before our first use.

J'ai essayé ce cerf-volant par vent assez fort, bien établi, en bord de mer. J'étais accompagné,de deux de mes petits-enfants, (5 et 7 ans). Décollage facile, montée extrêmement rapide, excellente tenue au vent. Relative difficulté pour les enfants compte tenu de la traction exercée sur le fil. J'ai moi-même regretté de ne pas avoir de gants. Quelques difficultés pour rembobiner...

No puedo decir más que cosas buenas sobre esta cometa. La calidad es estupenda, es super fácil de montar (y desmontar!) y nos ha proporcionado horas y horas de diversión. Compré 2 cometas para mis hijos de 3 y 8 años, temiendo que sería muy difícil montarlas y hacerlas volar. ¡PARA NADA! Super fácil, en 2 minutos la teníamos en el aire, y es muy aerodinámica. También bella, a mi hijo pequeño le encantaron los flecos que volaban al viento. Recomiendo 100% este producto, incluso los papas queremos jugar con ella ;-)!

questo aquilone funziona veramente bene, provato con vento forte e vola benissimo,nessun problema strutturale, ottimo gioco per bambini ma anche per i genitori. per sicurezza avevo srotolato tutti i 100 mt di cavo per verificare se effettivamente l'altro capo del cavo era assicurato alla maniglia, ed ho riscontrato che effettivamente era ben saldo ..fidarsi è bene ma non fidarsi è meglio!

This kite was extremely easy to assemble and went straight up, in a relatively lite breeze. Unfortunately due to a sudden wind change, the kite changed direction and got stuck in an extremely high tree ... not a failure of the product, just the handler! What was amazing (apart from the kite), was that the company agreatbrandlife, contacted me asking if I liked the product. I explained how happy I was and what had happened. They very kindly gave me a voucher to obtain a free rainbow kite, which made my 4 year old son very happy .. thank you!

Bought as gifts for my niece and nephew (9 and 10) - assembled easily and the kites are huge! Took them to Dunstable Downs, for their first ever flying kites experience. It was a fairly windy day, the kites took to the sky easily, and stayed there. The kids felt they were naturals at flying kites, as a result! The handle is a bit fiddly and laborious to unwind and wind up. Both kids at some point lost their hold, and looked dismayed as their new kites flew swiftly off into the distance....sheer luck the lines got caught in hedges, so I managed to recover them thankfully!! Anyway, hold them tight, and these kites are a fantastic choice for first time kite flyers!
