Snazaroo Classic Face and Body Paint, 18.8g (0.66-oz) Pot, Black

THIS STUFF WORKS GREAT! I got this to use for a demon costume and it did not disappoint! I bought two containers thinking I would need a lot to cover my face and hands and I literally only used 1/4 of it! I did have to do several layers to get a truly deep red color to completely cover my skin but this is totally worth the $$$! I liked the water activation rather than the oil based products, It didn't clog my pores and it came of soooo easily! I thought I would have been tinted a bit pink afterwards but It all came off in the shower! I used a setting spray over the top to help hold it on. I did have to be a bit careful because a little transfer is inevitable but thats fine, just be mindful if you're wearing something light colored it may transfer and possibly stain clothing. I chose to wear all black for this reason! Would recommend using an oil based cleanser (like DHC oil or micellar water at first) followed by a water based cleanser to get everything off. It also didn't stain my shower which i kind of expected and that was nice! I used a basic makeup sponge and some brushes to get it close to my eyes and around my nose. I did have to toss the sponges and brushes but i purposely bought cheap ones for this application that i could dispose of.

Great Face Paint – Smooth Application and True to Color! I absolutely loved this face paint! It has a creamy texture that makes it super easy to apply, even for detailed designs. The quality is excellent — it goes on smoothly, doesn’t crack or flake, and feels comfortable on the skin. What really impressed me is that the color perfectly matches the description and photos, which isn’t always the case with face paints. It also came off easily with makeup remover and didn’t irritate the skin. If you’re looking for reliable, vibrant face paint for parties, events, or kids’ activities, this one is a great choice. i bought this for halloween since i am being princess carolyn (bojack horseman) and i needed to be pink. this one works great!!!! its water activated (HOWEVER, since it is water activated i recommend avoiding your palm and fingers since you touch several things and it comes off and leaves paint everywhere you touch), so i just used a paint brush and brushed it on myself and applied tons of setting powder after. as a paint, its amazing and long lasting! the only issue i’ve had was when i messed up my makeup, i had to wipe it off and reapply it—which did not blend in smoothly with the paint i already applied and made it seem patchy, so keep that in mind (or maybe its just me). the case itself holds a ton of paint which can be reused many times. overall, i do recommend this body paint! just keep in mind that it is *water activated* and can come off anytime.

This is the easiest face paint I've ever used and I had absolutely no issues with cracking but one thing I did that I've never done before is I put baby powder in a sock and flicked the sock near my face so that way a small amounts of baby powder would go on the face paint and that helps big time it makes it so the paint won't smear even if you try to smudge it and it also feels more comfortable on your face like you don't even notice it anymore and it also prevents cracking .

This is going to be our go-to brand of face paint forever! Highlights: Safe for Celiacs, applies really easily once activated with water and our 5 year-old was able to clean herself with a wet wash cloth. Stayed for 4+ hours even without setting products. Details: Needed a gluten-free product for our child with Celiac disease as we didn't want to risk cross-contamination. Did the research and this product came highly recommended even by those with sensitive skin issues. It came plastic sealed so we knew it was clean. No applicator or instructions (though those might be on the package) so we used a makeup sponge and paintbrush and followed the reviews and some YouTube videos to make sure we applied it right. It activates with water so we got it wet and then also wet the sponge or brush. Really easy to apply with the brush but the sponge could get streaky so we did two coats and gave it just a few minutes to dry in between. The color is so vibrant! We purchased Pale Blue to get the Vampirina character look and it was perfect. Used for a full face for multiple events and still have plenty left so even though it seemed pricier to get a single color, it was well worth it. The main reason I'll go back to this forever is how easy it was to remove. Gave my 5.5 year old a wet wash cloth and she got it done in two minutes. I only had to go around the hairline to get hidden parts but I was really impressed as we were dreading having to get baby oil or other products out to remove it. It stayed really well for the 4 or so hours we needed it each time. Chose not to use a setting spray or baby powder but would recommend it for people going to conventions who need it to stay longer. There was one incident where after washing her hands they didn't get completely dry and she touched her face so there were some fingerprints of missing paint but not a big deal. As someone who doesn't apply makeup and hasn't done full face paint before, I couldn't recommend this more highly.

I bought this as part of a Halloween costume, with the intention to paint my face and neck. I glanced at the back of the container to see if it had instructions, but the text seems to be in size 6 font. I managed to make out something about diluting, but nothing about the proper amount of diluting or what was recommend as a dilution agent. I went to the Snazaroo website. The site is in need of a makeover. It is rather hard to navigate, not something I expected at all for a business website. I watched the video on the home page, where the painter said the paint was diluted with 1-2 drops of water. My application was easy enough. The paint has great coverage and the color is nice and rich (color in picture is accurate on my screen). The less water used, the thicker the coverage. I covered my face, neck and parts of my chest and there is still a lot of paint left in the container. It did somewhat rub off on contact, even after it was dry. Either way, I'd suggest not wearing anything that you do not want it to rub off on. It came off super easy and didn't leave any pigment stains. I was super pleased with it. So, if I liked it, why three stars? The ingredients include parabens, among other things. Had I known that this paint had parabens, I would never have purchased it. I really dislike that Amazon's listing didn't have the ingredients, and I didn't think about harmful ingredients at the time. I did end up using it, but if I had time to find an alternative this would have been sent back/trashed.

Yes, I and a group of 5 other adults dressed as oompa loompas this year (2015) for halloween. Naturally we needed orange face paint. After reading a lot of reviews and watching a few face paint tutorials I decided to go with snazaroo and found this product to be sold very reasonably priced by amazon. It was very easy to use. Just add a little water and swirl it around with your finger until the paint is pliable. Then we finger painted our faces and neck which took maybe 5 minutes to completely cover someone's face. Very simple application. We could have used brushes but we were not doing anything delicate or artistic. Just gobs of orange all over the face! It worked great and looked great. We had compliments all night. I'd highly recommend it to anyone thinking of going as an oompa loompa and it's perfect for a group costume idea. I don't know how many applications would work for this 18ml sized product. The descriptions says it could do 50 to 100 full faces and I believe it. We did 6 and it hardly made a dent. This will last a long time. My wife who has fairly sensitive skin and breaks out in rash at the weirdest things was fine using this product. No one else experienced any allergic reaction problems. This washed off in one shower with minimal scrubbing and basic face soap. I was extremely worried about this as we flew out of the state the next day and didn't want to have to explain to TSA why our faces were orange. "Really bad spray on tan?" A warning on this point...this paint will get everywhere. Wash your hands after application really well or everything you touch will have smudges of orange or whatever color you choose to use if you finger paint. I had a few fingerprints smudged on my laptop and going through security at the airport made the TSA agents a little curious about it sending it through the scanner again and inspecting it by hand. Could be a coincidence.

It's tricky to get an even coverage, but that could be that I don't know how to use it very well. Fairly easy to apply and very easy to take off. Stays on pretty nicely!
